  • Had the privilege of attending Guro Dan's seminars... it's all about love!

  • He's still a big

  • Guro Dan Inosanto, master of open hands, single stick, knife, stick and knife, stick and stick, really long stick, and really long scarf.

  • a real master and a humble man!

  • @cinqueottavi you absolutely dont know what you are talking about

  • amazing

  • I love when he says: Some people use in this way...but what kind of people? Deliquent! Who goes outside with stick and knife?

  • @cinqueottavi : ever been to the Philippines? I have and people carry knives all the time. Trust me, this stuff is still being used and is alive today.

  • @cinqueottavi you have to actually train in FMA or kali to understand the concept.....the sticks represent a sword, a knife or empty hands....for practical / real-life application...your innocent pen, umbrella, cane, flashlight...etc can become a deadly weapon

  • @cinqueottavi

Where I live alot of people a knife and since a stick is only a small diameter cylindrical object or edged weapon I'm sure you can find something (as said an umbrella, cane, tree branch, pipe, baseball bat, hard ruler). For a knife you can substitute a pen, cell phone, etc. So by that I'm saying a master of this martial art could become extremely deadly with a pen and a ruler which I'm sure are pretty commonplace in backpacks etc. You need to understand the art to utilize it...

  • @cinqueottavi You've obviously never been to glasgow.

  • MACHINE!!!!

  • Beautiful!!!

  • no words nor language can describe his depth of knowledge or humility.

  • soo... was that silat, kali and wing chun?...

holy shit why does guru dan inosanto sound and look like his still 35???

  • @kenseisato1989 it is all kali (or arnis/eskrima) but we have sarong techniques as well like silat and if your implying the drill thats similar to wing chun's chi-sao it's hubud which is the kali version but it is has knives as well as sticks involved. and i dunno a lot of filipino practitioners tend to look, move and seem younger than their age.
