They are a very handy machine,plug in and play.The sort of thing you can hold on to,Takes some time to learn how it all works but it comes to ya in the end. A Good Combo amp is a must and you can pick them up at a reasonable price.  Great upload

this thing is sick. Are those all sounds from the machine or are they samples taken from other synths. It this thing a drum machine and a synthesizer?

@beemanjo; unfortunately the sounds are samples from other roland synths, leaving very little space to synthesis. the mc303 is not even a sampler, it is a rompler (playback of ROM samples). if you're looking for a drummachine+synthesizer unit you should check for newer machines.

does everyone know how to register a drum pattern on a user pattern on the 303?

should i play all the different sound and use the live rec or are there different ways?

there is a step sequence record mode

in your empty user pattern press record with drums R lit up in part sellect then pres record again. now holding down the drum sound you want to program press record again and then simply press where you want the drum sound to go in the sequence. then repeat for other drum parts
