  • Thanks for this, but I believe you failed to mention a key point.

    Drivers...I know XP drivers aren't compatible, however no mention of it in this video. Did you install vista / 7 drivers without saying so?

    Please also give more information on how to get this. Who is eligible. How long will it last. Is it for home users?

    I'm wanting to upgrade my mums IBM Thinkpad T30. Was wondering if this tool would do the job.

  • He more than likely added the drivers in MDT prior to kicking off the installation or Win 7 already had all the drivers in its file repository but to answer your question, driver installation is part of the task sequence, so MDT will check the PnP ids of the hardware and inject the corresponding drivers during the installation phase.
