  • Bill is a great speaker and a brilliant man.

  • Great man with great words. I don't believe in evil (just populistic rethorics), but the way the republicans in America are fixated with lowering the taxes for the richest few percent of the population gets damn close to it. It baffles me.

  • nom nom nom!!!!! hehekekeke I feel like cybring!

    im so silly vA

  • finally done w/ my homework ne1 4 chat? 9

  • a I GOT PWNED. GOTO MY PROFILE 2 SEE MY NUDE PICS a

  • Fat ass

  • This man did great things for this country. And it is sad that people talk bad about this man, who created a surplus and created jobs for millions of americans and did so much more......

  • If I loaned you $100 asking you to pay 5% interest, and I am the only source of legal tender in the country, where is the $5 interest payment going to come from? The only way to satisfy me for now is if you borrow more money! Then you're in debt more later on. This is how the Federal Reserve works, and why the national debt is $9 trillion. See Google Videos "Money as Debt" and "Fiat Empire".

  • Eh well I'll only say this once, I don't want to get in a disagreement with you guys but why are you all fighting about this? It's never going to end the constant fighting back and fourth lets just end it. You have you're opinion and I have mine. Truce?

  • love it.

  • Clinton Rules... Great editing. Thanks for sharing.

  • the most important quality of a world leader is celebacy, right? people, you've been hating on command for 15 years now. you've hated clintons, gays, war heros, mexican people, arabs, and muslims on command for 15 years and what have you gotten in return?

  • and yet when President Clinton left office, he had the highest approval rating of all post-WWII Presidents.hmmmm

Most American Presidents are not so holier-than-thou.

  • Clinton is ballistic.

  • Comment removed

  • I voted for and volunteered for this man twice. God, he's so much better at leadership than GW Bush.

  • Hmmm

  • God hes sexy

  • Great politician. Poor policies.

  • I get nostalgic for the pre-Bush days every time I hear Clinton speak. Clinton was a competent president. Bush is a disaster! This last six years has been a nightmare and it will be a miracle if we make it to the end of Bush's term!

  • Genious. This man is a god. Makes bush look like tard. The Reps HATE clinton because they are JELIOUS. they counldn't get him and spen 100million to smear him and he is STILL the MOST POPULAR prez.

  • Jealous!

  • At least he can pronounce difficult words like 'Iraq' and 'Nuclear'. :)

  • EVERYONE should see this video!

  • I miss Bill. I wish he'd kept his pecker in his pants, sure, but at least he has a clue.

  • He starts out with some good-natured ribbing, but doesn't neglect to get around to what he does best in his oratory; he shares once again his fundamental insight into what makes America great. And that insight is so basic, so clear, so direct, that you feel it's not his to give, but rather he helps us remember that we've always had it. He always had that power to remind us. Funny how we can forget.

  • This guy committed such liberal crimes as turning a deficit into a substantial surplus; executed a welfare reform that didn't resemble pulling a rug out from under our citizens; in detail, he warned posterity about looming terrorists- though the info was filed in the round-file.

People are starting to remember what is important to this nation.

Thank you for voting, USA :)

  • "that didn't resemble pulling a rug out from under our citizens"

yeeaahhhh...like dumping the SS Fund into the General Trust just to bleat about a "surplus" wasn't pulling the rug out from under anyone. Why do you think SS is in the peril it is today?

  • Hmmm, I recall Bush quite eager to get his hands on the surplus. But he of course wouldnt spend it if its just SS. Thank god he knows better than to go overbudget ;)

  • Jim Webb a few years ago called bill clinton the most curropt president he had ever seen, a guess things can easily change when you can win.

  • Jim said Clinton's administration was the most corrupt to date. That was before your boy took over. Admittedly, Jim's statement was based on accusations that didn't turn out to be true, but let's remember Jim was a Republican back then. That's how they do things over there. And that's one of the many reasons he was forced to leave them.

  • Nah. Clinton's was one of the most corrupt. Remember Waco, Ruby Ridge, the Fuster case, the Brady Campaign, etc.?

I think he may have rivalled FDR, even, in his destruction of the Constitution.

Oh no! I said something bad about FDR!

  • Actually, Ruby Ridge was under Bush41. But the rest is valid. And don't forget six attacks on America under Clinton - not a single one with any sort of military response.

Terrorism is NOT a law enforcement issue.

  • True, Ruby Ridge was under Bush senior, but Horiuchi was the acting murderer in that case as in Waco :)

Exactly, Clinton got by by being smooth. It's sad that the liberals, the ones decrying superficiality in all its forms, are the ones who are the greatest victims of it.

  • And to all those bitching about slick willy. If you really think that life in this country was better under Bush than with Clinton than you are one masochistic SOB. I would take Monicagate in a heartbeat over all the crap that has happened under Bush's watch. A blowjob can't compare to Iraq and you know it.

  • What a joy it is to listen to a President that can connect continuous sentences together like poetry. Wow!!! I miss that soooooooooooo much. How this country has suffered for the past 6 years. That was beautiful.

  • Willy loves the spotlight but at least the man can speak. Our current prez can't go through one speech without tripping over every other word. I mean really. I'm sure even hardcore conservatives are bothered a tad that the world pictures Dubya's vacant stare whenever they think about America?

  • great campaigner...democratic leader

  • The Big Dog's still got it.

  • despite of his short coming he was the smartest president we ever had. Listen to what he is saying. I mean really listen, he is right on the money!!

  • I could slice and dice this criminal fucker for days on end. SEVENTY-TWO violations of United States Code during his time in office. And that doesn't even count Waco or Monicagate.

  • Exactly!

Amazing that liberals always talk themselves blue about virtues of lowering taxes, but the second a conservative takes the initiative it becomes evil.

  • Ridiculous USAon3! The violations you're so indignant about relate to all parties under his presidency. They are not 72 by Clinton. How many will we have under Bush!? Many many more. You only have to look at how many republican senators and congressmen have been convicted, serving time, under indictment and under investigation!!?!

  • what r u smoking? If you want to bitch about violations of U.S. code look at the guy who is in office. Atleast Clinton didn't use troops as pawns for the benefit of his financial elite. WAKE UP DIPSHIT. The american dream is just that. A DREAM. You gotta be asleep to believe in it. AMERICA HAS SPOKEN. A surplus turned into a Trillion dollar debt and an unwarranted war based on lies may cut it for you but not for the rest of us.

  • The "surplus" under Clinton only came about from his dumping the Social Security Trust into the General Fund. That's why SS is in the mess it's in now.

  • The GOP wants to ELIMINATE Social Security! Are you even familiar with Grover Norquist or the great "thinkers" in the GOP when they boast they want to shrink the federal government and do away with entitlement programs? It's a bait-and-switch GOP tactic of saying they will "fix SS" because they despise it, but you seem to actually not even understand why they are so "concerned" with a program that isn't even in peril now, just that it will be if we continue to follow GOP policies.

  • "It's not true that Democrats are gonna raise taxes on middle-class America. We're gonna cut taxes..."

You mean like you "did" in 1993? Oh wait, you turned around and said, "With things as bad as they are, I can't cut taxes for the middle class."

  • Im so glad Clinton isnt president, this is terrible

  • "It's okay with us if your kids put on a uniform, and go to Iraq or Afghanistan and fight..."

Clinton is reiterating the same pacifist position he sang his entire time in office - he never sent troops ANYWHERE after we were attacked.

    NOT ONCE.

  • After you were attacked? What the fuck are you talking about. When was America attacked under Clinton. He sent arms over seas same as Bush. God you people have short memories...Kosovo

  • 1993 - first WTC bombing.

1995 - US Air Base in Saudi Arabia bombed.

1996 - Khobar Towers in Saudi Arabia bombed.

1998 - US embassies in Africa bombed.

    2000 - USS Cole bombed.

  • And talk about a short memory... please list the date that Kosovo attacked America.

  • No, Kosovo was a response to this part of your comment."Clinton is reiterating the same pacifist position he sang his entire time in office"

Beside the WTC in 1993, which was a bombing not a full scale military assault, those were all against the US presence on foreign soil, not comparable to september 11

  • I'm sure rightwing radio & FOX like people to forget the 1998 when the GOP called Clinton bombing Al Queda training camps that year "wag the dog" politics! It was "WAG THE DOG" because it diverted attention from the GOP's #1 priority - Monica Lewinsky!

Then, when Bush took office and was told to make Al Queda his #1 national security threat by both Clinton and Sandy Berger, Mr "Decider" decided Iraq was our #1 priority an IGNORED AL Queda - which gave us 9/11!

  • The irony of the rightwing to pretend to ALL OF A SUDDEN be "tough on terror" when THROUGHOUT the 90's they had ZERO interest in going after Saudi terrorists! They mocked Clinton for making it a priority!!

Bush held NO meetings to discuss the threat AL Queda posed in his first 8 months in office, and IGNORED the August 6th PDB! If Bush hadn't been president we never would have HAD 9/11 - the incompetent piece of shit!

  • "Bush held NO meetings to discuss the threat AL Queda posed in his first 8 months in office" because he was spending the first 6 months getting around the stonewalling by the Democrats over the transition of power and installation of his cabinet.

  • then again, there is also multitasking.... no matter how busy or distracted, a President's job is to protect the American people. Bush failed us in 2001. We've looked the other way, for the most part, because it's too painful to realize those people didn't have to die.

  • And Clinton failed us in 1993, 1995, 1996, 1998, and 2000. Did you "look the other way" for him, too?

  • Bush was elected 2 months after the Cole was attacked. Why did he refuse to respond? He took NO action and abandoned the investigations into Saudi terrorim in January 2000 within days of taking office. I would LOVE for one of you Bush apologists to detail the actions Bush took against Saudi terrorism prior to 9/11 (or since) and explain why it's OK that he maintains a hands-off policy towards Bin Laden?

  • Your endless excuses for why Bush refused to respond to the Cole (first) or 9/11 (second), only underscore how weak the GOP is on national security and why they were soundly trounced by the American people this week. The GOP's record on Al Queda was to mock Clinton for doing bombing raids against them when the GOP just wanted to talk about cocksucking and cigar-fucking! That is the legacy of the GOP! 5 YEARS after 9/11 and NO Republican wants to respond to 9/11 or get Bin Laden!

  • I was there. Clinton nailed it on Iraq, Afghanistan, estate tax and more. I wish this video had included his statements about Afghanistan, where a moderate Muslim, friendly-to-us government battles the Taliban (who harbored our real enemy) -- and our efforts to help them and protect ourselves are hampered by our commitment in Iraq.

  • when i have a chance, i'll do an outtakes for you. sorry! YouTube only lets you do 10 minutes or less.

  • Holy crap! You mean not all U.S. Presidents ride on the short bus?

  • Holy crap! It's sad that you don't look to the substance of his arguments (of which there is none) and instead sit starry eyed because he makes a good impression.

Yup, you'd be a good candidate to kowtow to a dictator in the likeness of Stalin, Mao or Hitler.

    Poor you :)

  • I think what this person was saying was that the best leaders are ones who are the authors of their own ideas. Bush is not the author of his own ideas, which forces us to wonder who is manipulating him. At times, I fear, the men behind the Bush curtain have not had our nation's best interest in mind. This doesn't mean Bush is a bad person. But it's probably time we start looking for better qualifications for presidential candidates than (1) handsome (2) son of a famous man.

  • Bush is handsome? Okay..

That's fallacious reasoning, and I don't know you extracted it from his "short bus" comment. I guess under the maxim "anyone who doesn't have his own ideas is a fool and a puppet" would mean the founding fathers were puppets of long dead Locke, Descartes was a puppet of Anselm, and, god forbid, Plato a puppet of Socrates. Not to mention Hawkings must be the greatest of fools for subscribing to relativistic physical philosophy!

  • clinton for president! to bad he can't be re-elected.

  • rating = petrone tequila

  • buck fush!!

  • And thats why Clinton is still called Mr. President, while the current clown in charge is called Mr. Bush.

  • why did you speed up the video; takes away from the rhetorical effect

  • YouTube requires that each video be 10 minutes or less. I skipped a few parts to get it under 10, but I didn't speed it up except to trim applauses down and at one point he repeated himself twice for emphasis. He said "never been implemented" twice of the 9/11 Commission recommendations.

  • its cool; great video, think it really shows people what a thoughtful human being and president is like. hope the rest of the democrats will take that same approach now that they control congress!

  • Clinton rocks!

  • Clinton was a real leader. Bush just pretends he's a real leader.

  • i am so glad they took control!!! go dems!

  • Clinton is the man.

  • Clinton is Back ! ! !

  • I'm sorry. I couldn't pay attention to what he was saying.

I was too busy being mesmerized by his intelligence and distracted by adding this to favorites.

    GO BILL!!!!

  • Its too bad the most candid and believable political figures are always retired....If only he could have been as candid as he has been in recent days while he was in office.

  • Flashy politicians are not what America needs.

  • I think the US needs competent politicians

  • Lets vote away the "Axis Of Evil".

Lets turn our country away from the political Bermuda Triangle; of which G.W. & his cabinet has created, & the current republican congress & senate have allowed.

  • God Bless Clinton. He was a great President unlike the total LOSER worst president ever in the whitehouse now

  • thanks for recording this! i actually made it out to the rally last night, but since it was so crowded i coudn't even see the stage, let alone president

    clinton!

  • The Liberal Agendia has always been to disband the military, open forced abortion clinics all across the country ran by married french homosexuals, take our guns, give them to the same terrorists that they defend now, and make it A crime to worship God.

  • what the freaking fuck??.. uh...yeah...yeah...that is so what they always wanted to do. you are so smart it's mind-boggling.

  • Beautiful, well said. Thank you, Bill Clinton.

  • I sure do miss this guy!

  • Man, he's so old looking now. Most likely has Aids from having sex with Interns.

  • A question, why are you posting here when you could do like your buddy Foley and stalk some teens, ya old pervert? You know you want to, and as a NAMBLA-rep, you have certain standards to live up to.

  • I'll post anywhere I want to. You Nazi.

  • Okay, it's your choice whether you want tomdegrade yourself here.

  • Noo dude I did'nt mean take meth, I mean take your Depakote!

  • See I only have to keep this up till you're off shift. And If I go, another will continue on. You can't defeat all of us. As long as we keep calling astroturf like this, it will lose it's effect in the court of public opinion. And you still haven't responded to my request for a clear statement on whether or not you work for a public relations firm. Please respond with that in your next next post.

  • I have told you. You don't read very well.

  • no, you said "I don't work for anyone but myself." you didn't say anything about the field you work in.

  • Ehhh dude really you need to take your meds now!

  • right on nandansho, man, he needs to chill

  • No Psycho, I'm talkin to your crazy ass! =}

  • Try to imaging Bush even trying to give a speach of this calibre. Now imagine how different each brain must actuallly be. One must be cloged with shit. Now imagine handing the power of this nation to the brain stuffed with shit. Please vote Democrat!!!

  • If you watch the video closely, he acts alot like Hitler.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Oh man, you are hysterical. Did you wiki "fallacy" and decide to try to use every example? This garbage doesn't work as well when people keep calling you on it hey?

  • Because he has faith in himself and his message, can excite and captivate a crowd and can articulate his points oh so well, he looks like Hitler!? Sure, Hitler was supposed to be a good public speaker as well, but when it comes to substance, Republicans are much closer to AH (hint, warmongering, fanaticism and torture).

  • Ehhh, roachone did you take your meds?

  • You know I didn't really like Clinton that much when he was President. I didn't really mind him lying about Monica, most men who cheat on their wifes lie about it, but he just seemed so smarmy.

Now I watch this video and compare it to Bush speaking and I truly miss him. All I want is a decent, thoughful, intelligent, hard working, articulate person to be President.

Clinton was not perfect, but he was a lot better than bush.

  • wow, all I can say is wow. thanks for posting this video.

  • Bill Clinton is a god among insects (read: politicians).

  • He is a loser

  • That is SUCH a good argument! You really are a tremendously gifted writer. I'm in AWE of your mind and your skill at crafting a brilliant response to Clinton! (And who needs punctuation when a genius is at work, eh?) Heck of a job, Logey!

  • We miss you Bill!

  • We miss you Bill!!

But our aim is improving, in case Shillary runs!

  • So you want to kill a US Senator and A former prez?

  • Clinton is the best. Respected world-wide and will work with anoyone despite ideological differences. Truely one of the great American presidents. Too bad the Repubs harassed him his last few years and wouldn't let him do anything. He could have done so much more good.

  • Bill Clinton is campaigning in Virginia, while George W. Bush cowers in the reddest districts in Nebraska and Utah.

    My, how times have changed!

  • Yeah. No "red" in Virginia. No hillbillies there. Nooooosiirrreeeee.

And, watch your tongue on Nebraska. Nebraska houses STRATCOM.

  • Ummm. I see a big fat Liar, who likes young interns and sells top secret info to the chinese. Who let terriost hit us 4 times with no response. The Bush administration has spent more on education than any other administration in history. HE IS A LIAR. WAKE UP YOU FOOLS!!!

  • of course you do. You're likely paid for your thoughts by a right wing public relations firm. Funny how you miss Bush's posting atomic bomb plans up on the internet for all to see. Oh yeah, but it's all Clinton's fault. What a joke.

  • I noticed you didm't argue about the facts of my comments. Bill Clinton was a traitor.

  • HAHA Clinton is a traitor? Bush gives himself the ability to detain people forever by declaring them enemy combatants and Clinton is the traitor? And I like how you avoided my points. Too hard for you?

  • What is your point? That we actually keep enemy combatants in prison? God, that is terrible! We actually put our enemies in prison! What planet are you from? This is why the Dems will lose again.

  • And which public relation firm do you work you? My point isn't that keeping enemy combatant/terrorists in jail is a bad thing. It's that Bush gets to decide who is and is not an enemy combatant and if he decides you are THERE IS NO LEGAL RECOURSE to get you out of jail if he is wrong. And let's see, Katrina, Iraq, Taliban etc. why should we trust Bush is ever right?

  • Please give links to the back up the statement "Bush has spent more on education than any other administration." You must not have children in the public school system. Every week my son comes home with fundraisers and other requests for support. Our district is 66th out of 67 per pupil funds. BTW...he's in kindergarten, so the fun(draising) has just begun for our family.

  • In 1990-91, the federal share of total K-12 spending in the United States was just 5.7 percent. Since that time, it has risen by more than one-third and is now 8.3 percent of the total.

  • So after 10 years of Bush 1 and Reagan it was at 5.7 and after 8 years of Clinton rule it went up? Wow, big surprise there. Clinton actually got stuff done. Even with the Repub House trying to sabotage him in his last two years, he STILL accomplished more then Bush has in 6. Hmm looks like Clinton took the job of President as serious work. Bush views it as a chance to get his good buddies some sweet jobs and no-bid contracts. Basically he is running the White House like a Frat house.

  • Still just words...where did you get those numbers?

  • The problem here is you have no authority to speak on funding for public education. You yourself admit that your kid is in kindergarten. You have no previous experience with fundraising. Last I checked, especially in the early and mid 90's, fundraising was all the rage, even at prestigious schools that get and spend a ton of money in New York and California.

  • I have no authority? It's my son they are trying to turn into a salesman. Like a little pusher...hey wanna buy somthing out of my magazine. Tax me to death for education when I didn't even have any kids. Now that I do, I want to know what the hell they are doing with my income taxes, federal taxes, property taxes etc. Not to mention all the lottery money that is supposed to go to education.

  • Right. You point to your son's fund raising as "proof" that Bush is doing nothing for education, but you have no prior experience. Under that guiding philosophy I guess the sun started shining when you were born too, eh?

Don't want higher taxes? Don't vote liberal or neo-con. Vote for those who keep the government the smallest.

  • I NEVER said that was proof! I wanted proof he spent more on it then Clinton!

  • Then forgive me :)

  • No problem at all!

  • That's right, keep spewing your Republican talking points which are clearly not based in fact, if it makes you feel better.

  • I'm not spewing anything. If you would get your head out of your ass, you could get the truth also. Instead YOU are the one using talking points. Look at the U.S. dept. of education (ed.gov) And then try to debate me. Moron

  • Easy. What has Bush's no child left behind act actually done? Sure a lot of nice words but nothing actually changed and the public school system is in much worse shape then it was under Clinton. Besides Repubs only care about private schools. They don't care if everyone that can't afford to go to private schools doesn't learn to read. In fact that helps their election hopes.

  • So, now that you agree with me, you want to keep jumping to something else. OK. Republicans only care about private schools? We then spend more on public schools to show that? Wow, you are an ignorant person.

  • BTW roachone - nice to see you avoided my accusation of working for a public relations firm twice. Is that because you can't legally lie about your job online on messageboards anymore? So the only way you can keep posting this drivel and have it be effective is to ignore it and keep pretending to be Joe/Jane American?

  • I don't work for anyone but myself. I just find it funny how many people like you fall for such crap hook, line, and sinker. You lost the first few debates, want to try a different subject?

  • Wow, this whole declaring yourself right thing; it generally work for you? Cause some of us live in the real world of facts, where you actually have to prove your points, not make grand claims and declare yourself victor. You just don't seem to get it that we aren't going to let you get away with this stuff anymore. Your (likely) job posting this stuff from your public relations firm is done. We aren't falling for it anymore. It's time to get back to the ThinkTank and come up with some new ideas

  • All those words, and you said nothing. Your are a democrat for sure.

  • I'm not American. If you want to blast me at least do it for me being Canadian. That's in vogue now right? A 4th evasion. In your next reply, please respond with a clear statement about whether or not you work for a public relations company. Because unless they are paying you, how can you defend a party that has redirected $10s of millions from tax payers to line their business friend's pockets? How about putting that money into checking the ports? Education? Scientific research? HEALTHCARE?

  • Not American? Shut the fuck up then!!

  • @roachone: nice to see pros at work here.

Oh btw, s7ark did not lose any of the first few debates.

    Try again?

  • Ha, you're a funny guy. Using ad hominem attacks -- so Republican.

  • Roachone, I scoured the DOE web site and could not find anything to back up your figures. Can you direct me to where in the web-site I can find the statistics you have identified?

  • I scoured the DOE site as well. NOTHING!

  • "who likes young interns"

So? How is that relevant? Is that your best arguement?

  • learn to spell

  • go sleep, way past your bedtime you spoiled, parent grubbing brat.

  • HILLARY CAN BRING HIM BACK

  • I agree Deep177. He will. And it is such a pleasure to listen to an intelligent, thinking man who can articulate his thoughts. He makes bush appear small.

  • Damn! I miss him! That's what a real President looks and sounds like.

  • Lets turn our country away from the political Bermuda Triangle of which G.W. & his cabinet has created, & the current republican congress and senate allowed.

  • RE-ELECT BILL CLINTON IN 2008 ! ! ! ! !

  • Amazing, eight years ago these guys treated Bill like he had the plague. Not one would defend his right to privacy. Now look at them. Politicians, are ALL hypocrites.

  • Very good point and, sadly, too true.

  • in 2000 we went from eloquence to horseshit so fast my head is still spinning. Today we begin the road back....

  • The big dawg rules, that furthering republican education joke was fan-dam-tastic. Webb - bringing credibility back to Virgina and America.

  • Remember when we had a president who could speak in complete sentences? *sigh*

  • You mean while he was playing tonsil hockey with interns half his age, while stuffing them full of cigars?

  • I'd rather have a competent president screwing a harem than an incompetent president driving the US into unprecedented debt and fighting a war of choice predicated on lies.

  • Amen, fishhead. Actually, I'm getting quite a kick out of the Repugnant ones' comments. Also eager for the hearings to begin on the hill.

  • You da man BILL !!

  • Reminds me of the good old days when you yanks had some things to be proud of.

  • Call that lazy friend of yours today, that friend who doesn't own a car, or that family member that's on the fence, or busy or whatever, and get them out to the polls today.

Let's put this kind of rhetoric back in charge.

I'm sick of wedge issues, and vitriole. Stop wasting my time with flag-burning, homophobia, abortion, and guns and fix Iraq, fix the economy so more than the top 5% prosper.

"Moral Values" has become a joke.

"Corruption, and eptitude" would be more accurate.

  • This is a great man, he will go down as one the greatest President in history, You're see.

  • He can sure inspire a crowd can't he. And he has the highest IQ of any president. Who has the lowest? You guessed it....George W. Bush.

  • Comment removed

  • our next vice president err ummm first gentleman william jefferson clinton

  • Clinton is the best speaking President since Kennedy. Not quite in Roosevelt's league but still the best today. If that was extemporaneous

  • Time to repeal the 22nd amendment.

  • Right, and let's have kings for life and nepotism and hereditary offices while we're at it.

    Dumbass.

  • My, my. Someone must be feeling a bit of post election grumpiness.

  • "somebody had to read a book". That's priceless. Lynne Cheney didn't even read her own.

  • LOL...I about fell off my chair when he said Webb's books increased the education of Republicans because they had to read one.
