I think a GREAT idea to give him a specific reason to kill the boy would be this: he should have had a long seated grudge against the boy's trainer some reason to hate the man that could be shown in a flashback. About the best explanation for I have is some kind specialty-of many in the most authentic of martial arts.....that of something from hidden secrets of the Drunken Fist form. And learning how to control seemingly as demonstrated in the clip, high levels of intoxication while fighting is easier said than done. But Drunken Fist itself is one of the most difficult forms in Chinese fighting to learn or so I've heard. Though, this is MY educated theory for the possibility.....

When I first saw the movie on a spanish channel I thought that this was BloodSport 2 because I thought the crowd was yelling "Chong Lee" but instead was "Chang Lee." It almost sounds the same.
