Delicious! sez my wirey girl too! Lucy LOVES (and anticipates the treat!) apples in the car when I bring them from the local farmers market. She somehow KNOWS when I come from THAT store that she will get her apple! :-> Thanks for sharing your sweet views!
@XxShaym1nxX all dogs are like that :) the depend on us humans for food, so the expectation will never go away ... but some need to be taught not to beg. My other dog is 16 and she still needs to be reminded that she is not allowed to beg :)
@Kela08 just like Milou... i even got a little Milou fluffy toy in the post from a friend in Germany when Norman died. he is now next to my bed for ever :)
My Fox Terrier is 13 years old loves apples he likes the New Zealand Jazz variety, very sweet and crunchy. Every moring he as one 1/4 off me for breakfast.
I think that many of our pets like apples / fruit. Their prescribed diet is normally dry crunchies or some sort of meaty substances. I think they probably love that fresh crunchy juicy options that raw fruit and veggies offer them. Dried fruit is bad for their teeth though. so people should take care not to just give their pets anything that is "fruit" :)
@SouthAfricanJuanita I think most dog food is hard dry stuff because its easy for people to clean up, and itsless messy to deal with. I do NOT think this is best for the dog at all. Just like humans do not benefit from eating powerbars everyday all day
This reminds me of my wire-haired fox terrier. Her name was Harriett and there is no way i could ever have a dog better than her. I lost her to a car when she was 8 and i'll never forget her. She was my best friend and i miss her so so so much.
Oh Sorry I understand how you feel I lost mine and I still miss him a lot even one year later. I got a puppy but still nameless so if you got an idea ;)
Mine as well. After one year I still can't forget him.... Maybe I travel justwo month later during one year so maybe I'm still not use t not see him anymore.... I got a new puppy a fox but it's been already one week and he is stil nameless so if you got an idea... (not a too english-like ;p I'm belgian so I thought about Milou but look like too much like minou, and it how I call my cat (not her name))...
I'm so sorry for your loss!! I lost both of my Foxies within 9 months of eachother - old age stuff. They are so adorable - hope you'll find it in your heart to love another one or two! I got an Airedale a few months after my Fred passed away to keep Martha company. She died about 6 months later. We do love our Eddie Airedale but I miss my little Wire Foxies and think about them often.
Mr Cilliers. He lives somewhere in Johannesburg, South Africa. 072 292 6634. I had him flown in to Cape Town. He arrived with a little teddy bear in his cage. Was very cute! Great doggies to own. they are very independent - similar to a cat personality - will keep themselves entertained all the time. Hope you find one!
Norman was precious! I just lost my welsh terrier....I am devestated.......he chewed like that too! Both terriers love food and snacks. They wake out of a sound sleep if they hear a bag crinkle!!!
Our Fox terrier Billy Lamb legs is so similar to Norman esp munching on an apple so delicately.. bless him esp love that sound they make too... all fox terriers are very special animals the most human i have ever known! love this video!
Sadly my little Normie was put to sleep on Thur 9 April 2009 due to his worsening epilepsy. I know you are in doggie heaven now Norm, and I know you feel much better over there. I will miss you my little teddy bear!
Thats why I recorded this video - he used to make that sound when he was thoroughly enjoying something that he was eating.
My deepest regrets. I am so sorry. I love this video. Normie was wonderfull - I watched this video so many times - it touches my heart and it lights up my day. Thank you so much for sharing this video - it is precious. All the best for you.
