Have you ever listened to a professional oboe player? Because, you will never get there if you suck that much at age 15. I played that song when I was like 11 or 12. -_-
NO WAY. I did this same solo when I was in seventh grade~ I was only 12 then, and despite my age, I got top points on it. Sounds pretty good, but I can tell she's nervous. I'm a freshman now, and I still get the jitters. :)
Lol i play the oboe..wow your really tense. and you should practice wa more. not to be mean but it sounds painful. and shoulers down. your making it hard for yourself
@MortheLxLovE I'm an oboe player.. and If you keep your shoulders down.. It's just harder to get the air though your windpipe.. She looks more professional with her shoulders up
@JessicaSaysHi1 Your air stream is down and you feel more comfortable while playing with your shoulders down. Look at professional oboe players performing.
Yeah I also noticed you are very tense and stiff while playing. Just relax your whole body including you mouth. Support like mad on those high notes and just let the notes flow from the oboe. I playing this for one of my juries and it can be a difficult piece. Keep it up!

You play in pitch and the tone is ok; however, the musical line is not RELAXED!
You are very tense which constricts the air flow and musicality of the exercise/composition.
