tnx for experimenting with different coal materials. could you please post a link to the used charcoal filter/product. would help to pick up the exact one here in europe.
@gerhardusmaximus ----Do google search for: "Carbon water filter cartridge". Someone over there will stock it. They are a pretty common item world wide.
come on guys n gals ,be "hung for a sheep not a lamb"lets see someone make a BIG BATTERY???45 GALLON DRUM?WITH SAFE ELECTROLITE?ETC ETC ,what a battery bank for solar setup that would be?change components as they deteriorate?NEVERhave to buy new ?battery banks die many times in a 25 year solar cell lifespan???????????/WHOS UP FOR IT ?????
If you were looking for something bigger. YOu can buy carbon air filters. Also hollow but from 4" dia upwards. i think 12 " is the biffest i've seen but you can get bigger.
No, no, thank you. I trully appreciate your work. You bring together concepts from awseome contributors add your own geniuos and make it understandable to lay people.Only the people help the people.
You may not see it as such, but you are a knight of the Paladin variety. One of many, and the beauty is that you among your brethren seek to give and not profit.
awesome sourcing lids! ... if this is a peltier/seebeck effect then applying a current to the cell (remember its not a battery) would create a chiller ... interesting stuff ... i wonder if replacing the magnesium with zinc would increase the potential?
Hi Lidmotor.Great find with the carbon filter.Carbon rods are expensive with shipping so this is a great help. The output you are getting makes this really interesting as like you say,it will run most of the things we are interested in and i would love to see you wind that other filter up and connect in series and parallel and see how it behaves as this like John Bedini says, this is not quite the same as an ordinary battery.Great work.Jonny
@jonnydavro -----Hey Jonny. I have this running a "One magnet no bearing Bedini" right now. I have not tried it on an Exciter yet put it should work just fine. This is a strong power source but the trick will be to keep it going without losing the Mg. The carbon is not going anywhere and the water is pure distilled. John's theory on what is happening here gives me great hope.
Makes me wonder if any food grade carbon would work. Or, or other carbon, like chard wood. Have you had the time to try and calculate size of the surface area of contact between the magnesium and the carbon? The reason I ask is this; to get a higher voltage, one could use one long strand of magnesium with layers of carbon/felt to increase the volts/amps without having to use the space of 8 of these batteries in series.
@ProgressiveTV -----Thanks. Hopefully other people will join in and start experimenting with this energy source. The process that is "making" the power really needs to be studdied carefully. If this is more than just a simple galvanic battery then---- WOW!!!!!!!
Compressed carbon has negative resistance. Research Dr. Deborah Chung work. They use this technology in classified projects.

Are you adding a salt water electrolyte to the battery ? Or some other thing. Or is it simply running off damp air, or the wet felt ? Thanks.
