Yes the original is cool (takes me back to childhood when the game came out on SNES) but I am loving the remix as an adult. It sounds good considering this was remixed for a fighting game so I love when it hits that part where it takes on a new life and energized the melody to set the mood for the player(s).

Sorry its better than the original guys. The original is 8 bit everyone feels more noble because they stick with the classics. They simply don't wanna admit that they did an extraordinary job at remaking the song.

I love the original song, but I can't see any improvement with this remix. It sounds as if it doesn't know what it wants to be, a calm ambient theme, an explorative theme, or an action and battle theme. Also the different instrument tracks often don't really fit together (e.g. 0:43 to 1:00). A pity, really.
