This version actually has keyboard work. I prefer Jason as a lead. I hate when reserved guy is the lead vocal. I'm a fan of powerhouse vocals. Patrick Stump, Brendon Urie, Jonny Craig, people with power. And for some people, vocals do make the music. I think it's funny how people say that, "Jason's version (this) beats Derek's version." When both versions are Jason's seeing as he wrote them, the other one simply has Derek and Daniel singing in it and better production, that's all.

The production is terrible in this song. The song definitely suits Dereks' voice more than Jason's. Either way, I like both versions, but the Mayday version definitely better - in my eyes.

I'm not going to play favorites by what bands plays what or who is singing what, I will by the song. If the song is bad or isn't very good, I don't care who wrote it, the song is bad. If it's good, then well, good.

If anything, Jason's voice is better as a trade off. Derek's is more reserved and cooler while Jason's has more power. It annoys me how everyone continually emphasizes the emotion in his voice. I know of it already, but a VOICE isn't everything.

Case in point: Lady Gaga. She has an amazing voice, no doubt. But her songs sure aren't.
