Here's a riddle for all you gals who think women get paid less for equal work.

If I'm a business man, and I can hire a woman to do the same work as a man and pay her 75% of what I'd have to pay her male counterpart, why would I throw my money away on the overpriced man?

I think you're missing the point.For example: If johnny and sarah both make 100 benches per week but Johnny gets payed more simply because he is a male then that is gender discrimination and is unconstitutional. I disagree on this one with Senator Obama. There are several factors that are at play as to why women might not get the same pay. Women take more sick leave, family leave etc. Research now (New York Times) show that women in their 20-30 out earning their male counterparts in 2008. Also, women graduate 3 times as much compared to men. A woman, who puts the same amount of time as a man, does get paid equally. There's no discrimination.
