I appreciate it. I've put a lot of work into my Sonic. I'm trying to break my HA habit, but D-smash is something I just recently made a bigger part of my game, and so far it's served me well. As I go on I guess I'll continue to learn the finer points of the Blue Blur.
I am on SWF. In the past I've played with Sonic players like Thecatinthehat, Gf2tw, and they've absolutely killed me. Only recently have I gotten back on a "Brawl kick" after being on a "Mario Kart kick" for months.
In my Sonic vs. Meta Knight video I acknowledge that Basic Brawl and Level 9's aren't a good gauge of somebody's talent. My imaginative side would like to be a high-end tournament player, but my realistic side tells me that's pretty unlikely.
Too much Homing Attack and Dmash =/ otherwise fairly decent Sonic you got there.

Nothing personal but have been training on CPUs and on Basic Brawl?
Good players will and can punish Dsmash, not sure if you know but you can get grabbed out of it just after your finished.
Dsmash is good, but youll end up staling it making it hard for the KO. Sonic's only got Fsmash, Bair, Upair (which needs a combo) and Dsmash.
I could go on but Im running out of words to type lol.
Have you went to SWF? They have lots of tips on Brawl.
