  • Peanuts, Paul Frees and Tennessee Ernie Ford? Wins all around!!!!

  • Linus's voice sounds like the voice used for Sally later on.

  • Back when Milli Vanilli were just babies... must've been their inspiration.

Did they air this program in Germany(the Milli Vanilli guys are from there), by any chance?

  • The animation has great fluid movement. Very well done.

  • OMG,this extreamly rare intro Im dying to know,WHERE THE HELL DID YOU FIND THIS INTRO!!!!!

  • Charlie Brown is wonderful. At one time or another there's a little Charlie Brown in all of us.

Personally, I see myself more as a Linus, but lord knows I've had my "Good grief!" moments.

  • These special "Peanuts" openings for "Tennessee Ernie's" Thursday night NBC variety show were seen between 1959 and '61, and were originally telecast "In Living Color" {this is from a black & white kinescope}. Charlie and the gang also appeared in Ford commercials during the show, as well...

  • aw gosh I love this old show

  • The Charlie Brown lip synching voice was done by Paul Frees.
