For those who have asked, the song was orignally recorded by Patsy Montana in 1935, and was the first million selling song by a female artist ever, so this is something of a feminest celebration. If you want to hear the orignal, it is on Youtube, Just type "Patsy Montana, Cowgirl Sweetheart in the search bar. Brandi does this song now and then as a great tribute to one of the pioneer females in music, you gotta love it. :-)
