@catfish7906 The simplest way is to drop a marble threshold at the door line. You could also create one out of decorative tile or even a piece of oak.

The best way to not cover your marked centerline with thin-set is to spread it only on one side or the other, Not Both.
This leaves your center line mark exposed. Great Vid. By The way !
