hand brake sucks. it requires vlc which also sucks. and its crash prone. use rip it or rip saw. it will rip them into a dvd image that you can then use with iDVD or iMovie. don't use vlc. install perian. it will add all the video codecs there is to quick time. you can then use quick time to play any video format you want. use flip for Mac for wmv that is the only one missing. but it is also a quick time plug. and Xchat Aqua is a much better irc client than Colloquy. appcleaner is good 2
