I agree that the ownership sucks however they certainly should have asked Sundin to waive his NTC and they did ask other players to do it as well. Do you realize what the leafs could have gotten for Sundin as a rental player? Fletcher was wrong to publicly pressure Sundin but it was his job to fix a lousy team.
