I love the personal message he sings to God, and this song is so relatable. Because each person's relationship to God is a personal one, and I don't think that any one religion can completely encompass that. Plus I truely believe that no matter what religion you choose to follow God is part of it. I mean, isn't God a part of eveything? Why not every religion?

Beautiful song, but He's not praising God! He's asking where is God among everything that's wrong with the world? He's tired of just keeping the faith. He HOPES there is a God. He hopes "when he goes" God is waiting for him, but he's not sure because God doesn't appear to be anywhere. He questions what's real and pleads for God to show up, but as always God doesn't. He DOESN'T feel God hence the title of the song! He can "keep the faith", but he'll still be singing this song!

@Fjord76 Actually.. that was Saadiq's longtime guitarist, and collaborator, Rob Bacon on the guitar on that song. Saadiq did co-write and co-produce. Rob Bacon wrote the main riff to the song. Didnt want u or anyone else to be mis-informed... God Bless
