Sprint needs an image refresh.. their presentations/reps are always sooo tired and boring.. they seem old-fashioned.. They lack the excitement, enthusiasm and image necessary to get people really excited for the product.. their image doesent fairly represent their superior network/amazing phones.

Okay this maybe a silly question, but when you're playing videos from the evo through the HDMI wouldn't that obliterate the battery?

@TheOmglexii it'd probably use a lot more power than making calls, but as far as I know, the Evo isn't actually upscaling videos for the TV, it's just playing them in the highest def format is has available on youtube. But I suppose if the video you're watching has to be downscaled to run on that resolution, but can be upscaled, then maybe you'll see greater battery draw exporting to a TV.

This phone will be awesome. Look at those specs: 1) 1 Ghz processor 2) Android 2.1 OS 3) 4.3 inch screen 4) 4G 5) front facing camera for video chat on the go 6) 8 mp camera 7) 720 hd recording 8) connect up to 8 devices via mobile hotspot feature, and..(breath) 9) hdmi out port to watch HD content from phone to TV. WOW! Only a very few phones have just one of these features and even fewer have two. The HTC EVO is going to destroy the competition! Do you have an answer Apple fanboy!?

@wplantz first, they never said you couldn't stream HQ at Verizon, they're trying to show that it plays automatically on with the EVO, and if they're such morons, why doesn't Verizon have the EVO, or cheaper unlimited plans, be realistic... :P
