Love this pattern to crochet,. Can you tell me if I wanted to use it to make an quilt or throw, would you just continue to enlarge or would I have to do squares and put together? It seems like you could just enlarge, but I don't know how large it could be and well just don't know enough yet about crochet to understand. Thanks for your videos and help!
Hello Teresa, Will you be posting written instructions for the log cabin square? I am having problems making it with just the video (but it's me, certainly, not your instructions!) I am a little slow. I would love to make this one. Thanks for all the work you do for so many crocheters! >('v')<
@genevalou , I would also love the written instructions for this square. My little one makes it a bit hard to watch a video and crochet along with it at the same time. Thanks.
Hi, I' m currently making an amigurumi elephant using a pattern i could send to you if you'd like, but, I would like to make the finished product a lot smaller. Is there any way to to do that?
thks Teresa for that video i was going to try and make a square you sure make it look easy someone has asked me to make a log cabin afghan thks for sharing
i wanted to know where do you get the thing thats on your crochet hook. i get a lot of callaces on my fingers because i hold my hook a little tight and i thought that would help me--so where do i get one?
@proud2belatinamuslim They're pencil grips. You can buy them at Walmart, the dollar store, pretty much any place. It depends. I know I'm not Teresa, but there's my answer (:
@proud2belatinamuslim I am using pencil grips. I got these from Office Max. I get the gel grips on my other hooks from Walmart. I have been using flex wrap to keep the grips in place and adjust for the different size crochet hooks
@tjw1963 thanks for tips how to keep pencil grips in place I've been trying to figure that out since last night when I saw the grips on your hooks and I tried it but kept slipping off , now I know lol again thank you for wonderful tips especially for smallest hook handles
I've been trying to find your video for adjusting the pencil grips to different size crochet hooks, the one with the tape or something like that, not the one with tubing so if you could send me a link or the video showing that, that would be most appreciated. Thank you.
Wow, great minds must think alike! I took about a two week break after last project, and then got inspired to do a Log Cabin-like pattern last night....BEFORE I saw your latest video! WEEeird!
I've been meaning to do something like this for a while, but all my LC patterns are different and didn't look right, so I had to figure out the "traditional" way on my own. I'm glad that you're sharing this so others don't have the same problem.
O....M......G! This square is awesome! I swear, Teresa, you are spoiling us with all these amazingly wonderful squares. I can't wait to make this one. Thank you for sharing :-)
i just love all the videos ....but i cant get no where for me i love doing this wish i had you close here what a great teacher my mother could not even teach me and she was the best she even made me clothes !!maybe someday i ll get it better keep on teachen and god bless you !!
@ColorMeAHeart17 I don't read patterns well just cant understand them. But I know enough and I can fellow her instructions well besides I am a sighted learner.
@ColorMeAHeart17 I will send you the basic crochet stitches. It is helpful to know the basic stitches prior to a project and will help reduce frustration.
my mom and both my grandmas all do alot of crocheting. Ive never learned how to do it but it looks easy. there are blankets all over the house that my mom and grandmas made. i want to learn how to crochet and make stuff for when i have a baby when i get married. that would be soooo cute i still have little booties that my grandma made me when i was a baby in my memory box :)
@aurabarbie56 There is a playlist on Teresa's channel just for beginners. The videos are very easy to follow and she goes slow enough that you can actually follow along! Give them a try and you might be surprise. :)
Teresa, I have been wanting someone to do this square!! Thank you!! I have one question, I have a few solid granny squares, do you thik that i could use those also for the center square of this square? thanks again!!! Good tutorial!!! No its not, its GREAT!!!! ;-)

I love this pattern , but can't follow the reading instruction my aunt gives me. I only started about 1 month ago with crochet, but learnt a lot.
Maybe I am a visual learner.
Thx you so much miss Teresa

Out of curiosity, does this tighter finish look nice on scarves? And is it possible to do it with other basic stitches (half-double, double, etc.)?
