  • killer video!! What kind of camera & film was used? Are they easily accessible?

  • @sirfinks Hello Sirfinks. Thanks for the kind words. I believe it was an old super 8 camera, found in a thrift store. After shooting the film was shipped to switzerland, I think it was, for processing/ development. When we got it back we screened it on a white wall and filmed that with a digicam, then edited it on pc. Only problem was it looked too clean so we literally had to roll out all the 100s of metres of film and scratch it/ drag it on the ground etc. to get the grainy look.

  • @mooiegarage That is amazing!! I LOVE this look of films! I've always wanted to make a film/video with the silent era look but didn't think the equipment would be available. Thanks so much. Great band also by the way!

  • @sirfinks Thank you very much! Check us out on facebook/ myspace if you like. If you're on the lookout I'm sure you'll find a used super 8 cam in a second hand store somewhere/ pawn shop etc. A little bit of work transfering it for edit and so on, but well worth it. :-)
