DAMN that "full in" in the middle of the routine was HOTT,, even though she overrotated it a little,, Did you see how high in the air she was??? she twisted and was at least 6 ft off the ground and shes only 4 ft 11 inches tall,, WOW i think that is one of the highest ive ever seen,, Shes HOTT!!!! awesome routine
i also like Kerri strugs last pass 96 olympics floor,, and natalia lashenovas 1989 worlds floor,, and oksana chosovitninas 1990 floor along with Kristin Mahloneys 2000 floor us olympic trials nite 2
Got to agree with mmoran there. The competitive years of the athletes in that list are at least a decade beyond Brandy's time--most are even more recent than that. Powerhouses like Mary Lou, Brandy, and Kim Z had to work harder to get the same elements around. Floor Ex is one of those events that benefited greatly by advancements in technology behind the apparatus--floor today is about four times springier than it was in Brandy's day. Getting high today just isn't as hard (no pun intended).
@krtina455 Yea indeed I guess we would have lost Bruce who had 9.95 9.625 9.825 and 9.712 for the team total. Brandy would have outscored her compulsories easily, and probably would have given better beam, floor and bars scores. Silver would have been within reach with a healthy Brandy. Hell, I even think Chelle Stack would have done well for the team also. I think she was so talented but always broke one event in major national championships. Stack usually did well internationally though
No, it would have been better to have had Brandy Johnson instead of Dominique Dawes in Barcelona 1992. Cause Bruce out scored Dawes in the Team Competition in every apparatus except floor.
