Why do you need of a projector? Can't you just a buy a normal television and use ps3 on it?

@TexasBoyCapCity people are right, but u could buy the Optoma 3D-XL Adaptor if you want play in 3D with PS3... or buy H5360BD model, that don't needs any adaptor for 3D on PS3

@6943699871 Firmware 3.50 enables 3D for blue-ray, but with 3.41 you should be able to play in 3D with some games..

@MrGabryroma: probabilmente è un problema di risoluzione/formato video dell'uscita HDMI...

Per resettare le impostazioni video devi accendere la PS3 tenendo premuto il pulsante di accensione per una decina di secondi (ma ricordati che poi funzionerà solamente l'uscita SCART).

allora il mio problema è che : un giorno avevo spostato la mia ps3 nella tv che è in rustico la quale è in 3D ora l'ho spostata nella mia tv che non ha la modalita 3D ,mi fa vedere solo il menu principale ma quando avvio il gioco non me fa vede niente xk la ps3 è impostata in 3D . come faccio a togliere il 3D?

hi I got acer h5360 projector and have some problems with 3d. is the 3d working on the hdmi cable 1.4? olso if I put normal dvd into my ps3 the acer projector will play that as 3d movie? what kind of glasses do I need for that projector ? sorry but I dont have no idea about 3d technology , please answer thank you :)

@TorryTheBest Devi usare un cavo HDMI, meglio se compatibile con lo standard 1.4, e poi rifai la configurazione video sulla PS3... dovrebbe riconoscerlo automaticamente.

Hi ,I have the Acer H5360 and PS3 and i have the same problem,can't do 3D with it,the PS3 just splits the screen in 2.

But now there is a new XpanD X102 3D DLP Link glasses that automaticly sync with all DLP projectors and PS3 with no IR emitter or additional software but i haven't tryed it yet! Anyone knows if this XpanD X102 3D Glasses can solve this problem??? Thanks guys!

This new 3D Glasses (XpanD X102 ) can replace the 3D-XL (they say)and is alot cheaper and already available. just wonder if you know someone that had tryed the XpanD X102 3D Glasses with the Acer H5360 and PS3???

@clear76 Maybe they means "XPand X102 glasses can replace Optoma 3D-XL glasses"... I don't think that the Optoma HDMI signal converter can be replaced by a pair of glasses... :)

That's awesome news that the PS3 remembers the 3D settings! Making a converter box for multiplexing the above-below 3d to frame sequential wouldn't be impossible at all. And you could use your computer with a video capture device and the great Stereoscopic Multiplexor / Player combination to do the same thing.

I have activated "3D mode" at the supermarket, connecting my PS3 into a 3D TV with HDMI 1.4 interface... and, back at home, I haven't reconfigured the video settings with my projector.

Anyway with H5360 you can't play 3D games with PS3.

Maybe with a HDMI 3D signal converter... but I don't know if there is a converter for this, now.

Suggestion? Buy a projector with HDMI 1.4 interface and full 3D! ^_^

Hola, veo que la resolucion que te da el proyector es de 1920x1080, a mi me da 720 solo, no se pq a ti te da mas...

Yo tengo la ps3 enchufada con el cable HDMI, y desde el menú de la ps3 no me deja poner mas de 720p...

Le has hecho algo para conseguir esa resolución?

@F4610T Purtroppo la PS3 utilizza la modalità "Top bottom " per la visualizzazione  3D, mentre l'acer utilizza la Modalita "sequenTial frame"
