Most politicians in the modern media age are psychopaths (check video "freedom from conscience - psychopaths"). There has always been corruption but a couple of generations ago there was at least a sense of ethics and guilt in most elected officials. As media introduced the age of soundbites being clever became the ideal -- and being the best manipulator.

Stopping all shopping will collapse the economy, which is the worst possible situation - That is where the military will step in, like in Eqypt, and blood will flow in the street.

When I was a kid, the people screaming only buy MADE IN AMERICA were laughed off the page. Only a generation later do we understand their wisdom.
