i used to have a few chickens too and let them roam around the yard eating bugs. they also ate grass. chickens raised now never see grass or bugs. they're fed a hormone rich diet and kept in the dark (no vitamin D), no grass (nitrilocides) and no bugs.
it's industrialized farming that's causing all the cancer. they're getting no nitrilocides, and neither are we. we need to all go back to free range meat or go meatless. that's what I'm doing from now on
