What if god doesn't exist? You've wasted your life lying to yourself(and others for that matter), preaching to youtubers, absurdly reconciling contradictory bible passages and turning a blind eye to all reason and justice.
All for what? Fear of eternal hellfire that a collection of poorly written and even less adequately compiled myths originated by middle eastern plagiarists foretold? I implore you to look up and acknowledge the well of christian ignorance in which you reside.
@bookguy12000 i like that you called threw in plagarists in their cause i say the samething. the bible's biggest ideas came from the book of dead 1200 years before the bible was written. its amazing how little christians think or know about their religion. they spend more time in churches then thinking about the rationality of their religion.

@62Elvis And as a third party I can confirm that looking at this comment section you are LOSING this discussion. Everything you've said here makes you look like a fucking idiot.
ATHEISTS/Unbelievers "SUPPRESS" THEIR GOD GIVEN FAITH BECAUSE OF FEAR OF USING IT TO BELIEVE the Gospel message; also atheists want to continue Sinning WITHOUT any spiritual/biblical repercussions.
WRONG, moron; atheists simply believe that the truth is important enough that it doesn't make sense to lie to yourself, and that belief has to be EARNED.
@StaceyC123 im Not wrong & im Not lying & you're in denial of the facts i've written and furthermore, gee i'm cut soooo deep with the name calling lol so immature & childish grow up little boy, I suppose youre still in high school.
You certainly ARE wrong, and you're too wrapped up in your own superstition to be able to see it yourself; your fairy tales don't even agree with THEMSELVES, and you haven't explained how you're supposed to choose which of two contradictory versions are "true". Since you obviously don't CARE about the truth, that might not matter to you, but it does matter to those of us who care about logic, reason, and evidence.
PLENTY; would you like to look only at those that apply specifically to your cult leader, or those that apply to your myths generally? In terms of your cult leader, these fairy tales can't even agree on when and where he was supposedly born, or when he was supposedly executed.
That's what you say (and every OTHER cult says the same about their little magic books), but can any of you PROVE IT? If there was any sort of a "god", and it had anything to do with your cult and your buybull, it wouldn't contradict itself on all manner of things.
@62Elvis HAHA the Bible isn't the word of god. Humans ha rewritten the bible several times to control people and religion for their winning. Its not even remotly posible that u srsly belives that everything in the bible is an exact copy of gods word (if he now exists which he probably dont)
@62Elvis tjhe harry potter books are real and true! .. see because you say things are true it doesnt make it true.. I HAVE 50 NAKED WOMEN SURROUNDING ME! .... see.... nothing.
@yatter1 i tend to go on what people tell me they believe, im use to stupidity, i apologize if i didnt understand it was a joke, as you can imagine i get too many of these comments to even know whos joking anymore lol.
@62Elvis Actually christianity gives you the free ticket to sin as much and as heinously as you please, as long as you ask for forgiveness. Sickening.
@bookguy12000 obviously u fail to understand God's Grace. God doesnt want anyone to sin esp. His children But, when we do, when we repent sincerely, He gladly & lovingly & mercifully Forgiving; God Never condones sin, because He's thrice holy, yet He will always pardon a sincerely repentent person GRACE(For by Grace are we saved thru faith, it is the gift of God)
@62Elvis So by that logic a peson can kill, rape...etc. then "sincerely" repent and be saved.......good luck spending an eternity with mass-murders and rapists in your "paradise".
@TheOutzman elvis will not address this point because there is no answer to it. the bible is the most IMMORAL piece of shit book ive ever had the displeasure of reading
@62Elvis "Tell it like the bible says"....you mean stoning your children to death? Keeping and marking slaves?....Please sell your snake-oil somewhere else. Thank you.
@62Elvis so let me get this straight, u say the first book suppose to be the word of god isnt true but you want us to believe the second one is true. meanwhile theres hundreds of other books of creation that have nothing to do with christianity. then theirs allah and moses which have a lot to do with jesus but youd ont believe in them. the book of the dead was where the plagarizing bastards that wrote the bible stole their ideas from. u dont believe in that book eiher though........brutal
@62Elvis Yes it was "old testament"....but did not jesus say.....Matt 5:18 for assuredly, i say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled....Not sure how you "read" this, but it seems he is saying none of my "fathers" laws will be changed...hmm...and by the way don't the "ten commandments" come from the "old testament"....do they count??....Please sell your snake-oil somewhere else.....thank you.
@62Elvis christians that become atheists arent supressing their beliefs. they look for evidence for them and when they cant find any then they realize that their religion has no evidence and further more when you critically analyze the bible you realize that the god from that bible is a moron and has worse morality then a baby raping murderer. oh wait that was in their too
And atheists don't need to lie to themselves about reality in order to get through their lives; if you had been born in another part of the world, you would right now be proclaiming that "there is no god but allah, and mohammed is his prophet", or some such bullshit. Because you were brainwashed at an early age, you never had the CHOICE to learn about your cult.
@StaceyC123 hello! u dont listen do ya? pay attn for once, ill say it again, I WASNT BRAINWASHED ive had nothing but choices & im not lying to myself; youre just afraid to use your faith to believe what u know deep in your soul is right dont be scared.
Which is exactly what EVERY brainwashed cult member says, isn't it? LOL. If you want me to believe something, the process is simple; PROVE IT, jackass.
No, your little magic book of fairy tales isn't "proof" of ANYTHING, moron, considering that they were written generations after the supposed events to which they relate, and have been rewritten and changed almost too many times to count. That means there's no more reason to buy the shit that you're selling than there is to buy the shit that the Moonies or the Mormons,or the Muslims are selling.
if theres any atheists on here that end up in hell(which i pray not)youll not be able to honestly tell God that "no one warned me or told me the truth God!" because ive done so;my conscience is clear. anyone that desires to remain ignorant & deceived, go for it.
even toddlers with No Biblical Indoctrination "believe" in their Creator/maker, i.e. God utilizing their God-given faith thts because they have "Innocent Wisdom" unlike unbelievers that allow the devil to deceive 'em.
And how many toddlers do you "talk" to to arrive at this conclusion, shit for brains? I'll worry about your imaginary "hell" when there's some sort of reason to take it any more seriously than any other half-baked fairy tale put together by cults like yours and others.
@StaceyC123 hmmm interesting you cuss & get mad its because your dad, satan hates Christians & God & the bible; im not the one with cabbage for brains, thatd be u; also ive spoken to MANY small children aged 3 to 10 WITH NO BIBLE UPBRINGING but their faith was square on OUR MAKER. How do u explain that mr know it all knucklehead??
I don't believe in your imaginary "satan" any more than I believe in your imaginary "god" halfwit; and, like I've already told you, kids will say ANYTHING to fit into what they think you want them to say, so they'll be part of a group; that holds true well PAST childhood, if you'd bother to think about it for a second.
free will is a cop-out to remove the responsibility from God for torturing you forever in hell. A kind loving father might say "well my child isnt what I wanted, but I love them anyway, and have made a place for them apart from me , but still very nice, enjoy the flowers and bunnies"
He said he'd return but He didnt put a date on it or even a year; many believe itll be in 2033 since Christ died in 33a.d. but theres no scriptures to prove that belief.
hell was "prepared for the devil & his angels" SO if a human goes there its his or her fault not Gods; God made a way to escape or avoid that destination SIMPLY by believing in the Son of God, Jesus as our savior, repenting & accepting Him into our life, we can make that happen; if God Wanted humans to join satan & demons, Jesus Wouldnt have provided a means to escape that terrible place.
If I thought the creator of the Universe had written (or inspired) a book, I'd memorize that thing. Wouldn't anyone?! How can there be such a thing as a Christian who hasn't read the Bible (unless most Christians don't actually believe)?
@235RB your errors: God (Jesus) cant be destroyed, neither can i (spiritually that is), God cant be accessed via intellectualism only thru our faith(which He gave us)& lastly im not religious as all True CHRISTians arent religious but rather Saved or born again(spiritual rebirth) Christianity isnt a religion its a Relationship with the Son of God, Jesus Christ who also proved His own deity or divinity. youve been corrected that was free from me as Gods grace is free to all.sw dreams gnite.
@62Elvis lol, and you forgot a period at the end of your sentence, and qoutation marks for my cokoo. Learn sentence structure. always a last resort to attack spelling errors.
@235RB (lol), i didnt forget, it was intentional, spelling is more important than "periods" & quotation marks p.s. you spelled quotation, qoutation youre wrong as usual.
@LerkurlianTamer I think your quite delusional, if you do not think that God does not exist. The religion of athesism is pretty delusional itself.How about a planet full of people who believe that there is no concequences to there actions beyond what happens on this earth.An atheist is therefore enslaved to ego, not to his/her true Self
If God doesn't exist....then reality is completely insane.
@elibeth121 Even if the water was diluted to half of it's salinity of 17ppt (parts per thousand) fresh water fish like rainbow & speckled trout and eggs would not survive. So there could not have been a world wide flood or there would not be an very tasty rainbow trout here in British Columbia where i live. Some type of fish can survive in fresh water and salt water evironments, but not lake trout.
@gekritzl We believe in one God because, according to the testimony of Sacred Scriptures, there is only one God, and according to the laws of logic, there can be only one. If there were two gods, there one god would be a limit on the other, neither of the two would be infinite ,neither one perfect; in these respects neither of the two would be God. " Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God in one Lord" God says '' For I am God, and there is no other" Nothing is wrong with me.
@elibeth121 - But... the Bible mentions many gods. Goddess Diana is "great" (Acts 19). Gods Jupiter and Mercurius are mentioned in Acts 14. Ashtoreth is a god mentioned in 1 Kings 11. The list goes on and on, dozens of gods listed in the bible. Yes, Yahweh is "God of gods, and Lord of lords" but even this sentence implies there are other gods.
@elibeth121 Can you logically answer this question? So if you believe the great flood really happened, how do you explain how all the fish survived, the fresh water fish such as lake trout cannot survive in the ocean with an average of salinity content of 35ppt. And the entire earth was covered in water mixing ocean water with lake water. Can you logically answer this question?
@62Elvis "Intense and prolonged indoctrination to change one's beliefs." This is the definition of brainwashing. When you were born, you didn't know about god or jesus christ, someone told you about them. Through your parents and the church you were subject to intense and prolonged indoctrination which continues to this day. This is what we mean when we say you were born atheist, you were born without this idea, it was imbued to you, hence you were brainwashed.
@StaceyC123 correction, biblical christianity Isn't a cult or insane or a superstition; superstitious is when youre afraid to open an umbrella indoors or step on a crack etc;cults would be like the moonies, mormons, j witnesses, catholicisM Etc trusting in ones creator/maker is wise & anything but insane. risking eternal separation from God is very unwise, insane; e.g. the Occult, now thats Insanity.
There is no reason whatsoever to believe any of your cult's claims (as it contradicts itself endlessly), and there is no evidence to support any of it. The imaginary "god" portrayed in your little magic book is a despotic, immoral, petulant tyrant, who approves of everything from slavery and rape to human sacrifice and genocide.
@StaceyC123 first of all its not magic nor does it claim to be, also, a God-man that dies on a cross for the sins of humanity is ANYTHING But tyrannical.
Your cult makes plenty of supernatural claims (ie. "magic"), and your own superstition's theology claims that this cult leader "died" for all of three days, in a manner that wasn't at all unusual, and was then "resurrected" as an all-powerful magic man in the sky. THAT'S NOT A SACRIFICE, DIPSHIT, IT'S A BAD WEEKEND. There isn't even any actual evidence for the EXISTENCE of this cult leader, let alone any of his supposed exploits.
@StaceyC123 Wow when confronted with the facts you turn to CAPS & cuss me gee im cut so deep lol by the way fyi Numbskull/knucklehead, im right (because the Bible's right) & You're WRONG.(there's those Caps again) haha. Gnite.
Where are these "facts" you claim you presented me with? You've made plenty of CLAIMS, but given no evidence, so those claims aren't worth any more than any other cult's claims. Your buybull also contradicts itself over and over again on all sorts of issues, so it's certainly not "right", even if you were stupid enough to believe its supernatural claims.
@StaceyC123 wiser to believe in Heaven & Jesus than to gamble with unbelief & fry in hell if the Bible is true; thats just good common sense thinking; by not believing, thats not playing it safe, hence very Unwise, exteremely risky, furthermore its better mental health to have something to look 4ward to as opposed to dying like a cockroach going into nothingness.
That's what's known as "Pascal's wager", and it's flawed on a number of points, not the least in thinking that the only two options are 1) no "god", or 2) only YOUR specific imaginary "god". What if your cult turns out to be wrong, and it's actually the Mormons, or the Muslims, or the Zoroastrians, or any one of the thousands upon thousands of OTHER imaginary "gods" that turn out to be the "right" one? You've got no more evidence than any of them do.
@StaceyC123 youre wrong also because i KNOW He resides in me i feel His presence in me & my life & every fiber & aspect of my being thats a personable undeniable fact as it is with multiple millions of Christians.
And all the other cult members who claim that they "know" that their cult is true because they "feel the presence" of THEIR imaginary "god" are just lying, right? You are simply IMAGINING this nonsense, because you have such an irrational fear of reality.
@StaceyC123 Proper clarification: i can speak for me & myself, im Not afraid of reality, Im Not imagining anything, im Not lying & its Not nonsense; dont talk like u know me u Dont; i know me a billion times better or more than u Think u know me & God knows Us a trillion times better than we know ourselves. Not accepting the facts ive laid out is Your irrational fear of reality.
So, when I put you and your insane claims up against the insane claims of every other wingnut that claims to "know" that there's an invisible magic man in the sky, and that there particular cult is the conduit that that imaginary "god" has chosen to "talk" to people through, why should I believe you instead of any of them? You and they all have an identical amount of evidence (NONE), you only "feel" that your superstition is true.
It is not, and for the reasons I've already explained; for it to be "sensible", you'd have to be able to prove that your imaginary invisible magic man in the sky existed in the first place, and then prove that your particular cult had anything to do with said imaginary invisible magic man in the sky. As it is, there's no more reason to believe your superstition than there is to believe any other that has ever or will ever exist.
@StaceyC123 u missed the whole point youre pretty dense; pay attn, what i said was, its WISE & SMART to believe vs not in case, when u die, we christians are right(which we are) & u "MORE than doubting-thomases" are wrong(which u are)disbelief is a STUPID & Unnecessary eternal spiritual Risk Only a foolish person would scoff @the Truth (Jesus & the Bible).
Once again, you DON'T KNOW what the "truth" of your cult's claims are, you only have "trust me, an invisible magic man in the sky told somebody 2000 years ago that..". You wouldn't believe anything else based on such obvious horseshit, so why this? And you're still ignoring the thousands upon thousands of OTHER possibilities, idiot; it's not "my "god" or no "god"", it's WHICH of the thousands of possible "god"s am I to choose from, and who can back it up?
Even though you have to believe contradictory nonsense in order to buy the fairy tales in your little magic book? Your cult can't even agree on the basic facts about this cult leader (when and where he was supposedly boprn, where he travelled, what he did and said, etc.). If this character wasn't just the 1st-century equivalent of Jim Jones or David Koresh, how come NO-ONE ELSE AROUND AT THE TIME NOTICED ANYTHING ABOUT HIM?
Can you NAME any of them, moron, or show me what they wrote? I didn't think so; that makes your cult's CLAIM (and that's all it is, without evidence) worth no more than the muslims' CLAIM that "mohammed rode a winged horse over Jerusalem". There are NO contemporary accounts of this cult leader, something I find suspicious if this lunatic was actually wandering around 1st century Judea doing the things your superstition claims.
So how come when any other cult says "my little magic book is true because my little magic book says my little magic book is true" you can recognize it for the pile of horseshit it is, but you can't recognize it when it's YOUR cult claiming the same thing? Are you THAT stupid?
Additionally, the passage in Josephus you mention was ADDED by your cult in the 300s, after Constantine wanted some evidence for your cult. Nope, no "reliable source" there, clown.
I know that you were raised to believe in this superstition, and therefore, you're afraid to consider the facts that show it to be just as big of a con job as Santa Claus and the easter Bunny; if you need to lie to yourself about an invisible magic friend in the sky to deal with life, that tells me you're not able to handle reality.
NONE OF WHOM WERE CONTEMPORARY, remember? All of these people were simply repeating the claims of your cult, lifetimes afterwards, with no way to know if they were true. Strike two.
And were they able to TALK to any of them, or confirm any of their claims? NO; so that still leaves your fairy tales in the same place as any other cult's.
I make my mind up based on EVIDENCE, not on 2000 year-old friend of afriend fairy tales that don't even agree with themselves half the time; that's because I actually CARE about whether what I believe is true or not. You obviously don't care.
@StaceyC123 the word of God is self-confirming; faith is the evidence of things not seen & the substance of things hoped for; even a toddler thats never been to church, never read a bible, never heard a sermon KNOWS in its heart that theres a Supreme being, "brainwashed"? spare me the hogwash its called God given Faith by the way paschals wager or whatever is Sound Thinking even on the remote chance im wrong; if a child can believe & have common sense & use Godly wisdom & faith why cant you?
Horseshit; "my little magic book is true because my little magic book says my little magic book is true" doesn't make any more sense when your cult says it than when any other cult says it. And, no, peole have to be INDOCTRINATED to believe your nonsense, just like they have to be told that there's a "Santa Claus" or a "Tooth Fairy". Finally, "faith" is the EXCUSE that pinheads have to use to try to justify their insanity when there's no evidence, and that goes for ALL cults.
@StaceyC123 wow i sense your anger. atheists hate their Creator, Christians & the Bible (just as satan, your father does)youre also wrong, i know many small children that, from an very early age, ( even 3 & 4) with NO biblical Indoctrination, had a innate, genuine Faith in a supernatural Creator i.e. God. its not an excuse, its fact & reality. Christianity isnt a religion. its a relationship with God via His Son. stop being ignorant & deceived.
I don't hate your imaginary "god" any more than I hate any OTHER imaginary character; what I DO hate is people that are so desperate to lie to themselves that they have to ignore proven facts in order to cling to their superstitions. And how many of these imaginary kids that you "know" were raised in a town or area were people were expected to believe in your superstition? Kids will do their best to fit into any group.
So, my little magic book is true because my little magic book says my little magic book is true"; can you name acult that DOESN'T make that claim, moron? Strike three.
It's nothing of the sort, considered that this "sacrifice" was supposed to be for the rules that this imaginary "god" himself set up; I know 2 year-olds who are able to simply forgive people, so why couldn't your imaginary "god"?
The god of the old testament was a cruel and evil tyrant. He sanctioned genocide, slavery, rape, arson, vandalism, looting, stealing, and the selling of one's daughter as a sex slave. If a woman was raped she became the legal property of her attacker. He approved the murder of babies, children, and pregnant women, and even the killing of one's own family members. He contemplated evil and created war. If he's the ultimate example of morality then I would rather be a godless heathen.

WRONG, moron; atheists simply believe that the truth is important enough that it doesn't make sense to lie to yourself, and that belief has to be EARNED.
StaceyC123 3 weeks ago
@StaceyC123 im Not wrong & im Not lying & you're in denial of the facts i've written and furthermore, gee i'm cut soooo deep with the name calling lol so immature & childish grow up little boy, I suppose youre still in high school.

@62Elvis
StaceyC123 3 weeks ago
@StaceyC123 Which fairytales of ours doesnt make sense, and how dont they agree with each other?
EWall95 3 weeks ago
@EWall95
PLENTY; would you like to look only at those that apply specifically to your cult leader, or those that apply to your myths generally? In terms of your cult leader, these fairy tales can't even agree on when and where he was supposedly born, or when he was supposedly executed.

StaceyC123 3 weeks ago
@62Elvis HAHA the Bible isn't the word of god. Humans ha rewritten the bible several times to control people and religion for their winning. Its not even remotly posible that u srsly belives that everything in the bible is an exact copy of gods word (if he now exists which he probably dont)

bookguy12000 2 weeks ago
@bookguy12000 obviously u fail to understand God's Grace. God doesnt want anyone to sin esp. His children But, when we do, when we repent sincerely, He gladly & lovingly & mercifully Forgiving; God Never condones sin, because He's thrice holy, yet He will always pardon a sincerely repentent person GRACE(For by Grace are we saved thru faith, it is the gift of God)

robbieblack111 2 weeks ago

@LerkurlianTamer I think your quite delusional, if you do not think that God does not exist. The religion of athesism is pretty delusional itself.How about a planet full of people who believe that there is no concequences to there actions beyond what happens on this earth.An atheist is therefore enslaved to ego, not to his/her true Self
If God doesn't exist....then reality is completely insane.
elibeth121 4 weeks ago
@elibeth121 Even if the water was diluted to half of it's salinity of 17ppt (parts per thousand) fresh water fish like rainbow & speckled trout and eggs would not survive. So there could not have been a world wide flood or there would not be an very tasty rainbow trout here in British Columbia where i live. Some type of fish can survive in fresh water and salt water evironments, but not lake trout.

@elibeth121 - "If God doesn't exist....then reality is completely insane."
Why?
And why just one god? What is there are a bunch of them, like the Bible says? Would reality be "completely insane" if there are a bunch of gods?
And why do you need supernatural judgement just for reality to be "sane"? What's wrong with you?
gekritzl 4 weeks ago

@gekritzl We believe in one God because, according to the testimony of Sacred Scriptures, there is only one God, and according to the laws of logic, there can be only one. If there were two gods, there one god would be a limit on the other, neither of the two would be infinite ,neither one perfect; in these respects neither of the two would be God. " Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God in one Lord" God says '' For I am God, and there is no other" Nothing is wrong with me.
elibeth121 4 weeks ago
@elibeth121 - But... the Bible mentions many gods. Goddess Diana is "great" (Acts 19). Gods Jupiter and Mercurius are mentioned in Acts 14. Ashtoreth is a god mentioned in 1 Kings 11. The list goes on and on, dozens of gods listed in the bible. Yes, Yahweh is "God of gods, and Lord of lords" but even this sentence implies there are other gods.
gekritzl 4 weeks ago

62Elvis 3 weeks ago
@62Elvis
StaceyC123 3 weeks ago
@StaceyC123 first of all its not magic nor does it claim to be, also, a God-man that dies on a cross for the sins of humanity is ANYTHING But tyrannical.
62Elvis 3 weeks ago
@62Elvis
StaceyC123 3 weeks ago

StaceyC123 3 weeks ago
@StaceyC123 wiser to believe in Heaven & Jesus than to gamble with unbelief & fry in hell if the Bible is true; thats just good common sense thinking; by not believing, thats not playing it safe, hence very Unwise, exteremely risky, furthermore its better mental health to have something to look 4ward to as opposed to dying like a cockroach going into nothingness.
62Elvis 3 weeks ago
@62Elvis
StaceyC123 3 weeks ago

62Elvis 3 weeks ago

So, when I put you and your insane claims up against the insane claims of every other wingnut that claims to "know" that there's an invisible magic man in the sky, and that there particular cult is the conduit that that imaginary "god" has chosen to "talk" to people through, why should I believe you instead of any of them? You and they all have an identical amount of evidence (NONE), you only "feel" that your superstition is true.
StaceyC123 3 weeks ago
@StaceyC123 regardless of whose wager it is or when it was written etc its SENSIBLE.
62Elvis 3 weeks ago
@62Elvis
StaceyC123 3 weeks ago

@62Elvis
It's nothing of the sort, considered that this "sacrifice" was supposed to be for the rules that this imaginary "god" himself set up; I know 2 year-olds who are able to simply forgive people, so why couldn't your imaginary "god"?
