Second, I put down other religions because religion convinces people that there are invisible people in the sky that watch everything you do, that want you to give %10 of your money to them even if that means starving your children. In some places in the world you can still be STONED TO DEATH for denying their ridiculous beliefs. It is my duty as a scientist to strip the world of false beliefs.

i don't like that SoldierInGodsArmys is muzzled, but he didn't do his homework. i do think critical views of religions are necessary and a great opportunity for believers to "renovate" their belief, but only if the critic took a minute to get to know the religion. when people try to show contradictions in a belief system, they should research beforehand, because those half-baked attempts just spur fundamentalists on, and the more absolutist and fanatic they get, the more dangerous they become.

im averaging it on my own observations of atheist youtubers. simply an opinion. self labeled atheists tend to be 'intellectuals'(wannabes some of the time) and 'intellectuals' tend not to be funny,if they try, which they do, to be 'intellectually funny'. thunderfoot is a great example. this type of intellectual humour is terrible.

Hitchens' divorce was quite amicable. He's happy with Carol Blue. His alcohol intake doesn't interfere with his life (but enriches it!). He doesn't "side" with any group; he believes a military confrontation with Iraq was inevitable (and how would a political view constitute god's vengeance?)
