I don't own the torch, But I did call regarding the specs and the battery life is 5 minutes. So my reply was what the Hell good is a 5 minute light source? She told me me well you can buy extra batteries and it recharges in 30 minutes. So $150.00 for the flash light plus $35.00 extra batteries is not all that practical value. It would make a great non lethal weapon to blind an assailant while going for a jog in a park., But in my opinion it's to pricey for what you get.

@skulker1983 No, this is not a practical flashlight by any means. After 4 minutes of use (or so) the body get's too hot to hold. The casing around the battery will also start to melt with repeated long duration (6-8 minute) runs. They say it's max burn time is 15 minutes but really it's half that. I sold mine on Ebay and bought a real light.. For the same price I got a compact 3,500 lumen HID light that lasts just under 2 hours.

tl;dr The Torch is just a toy.

i didn't pay 4 the warranty, if something goes wrong with the torch u can fix it pretty easy. it has no electronic components or any thing like electronic circuits to complicate thing it is Very easy to fix if it breaks.
