Excellent film. Only Nolan can take something so commercial and pop cultural and turn it into an artistic, exciting and intelligent film. Surprised at Heath Ledger's voice. Didn't realise he had that voice range. Man worked hard on this.

Indeed dude. Schumacher films, while a shameless throwback to the campy but fun Adam West series, wasn't a very satisfying or ambitious Batman pic. The only reason they exist was because Warners were angry at Tim Burton's Batman Returns and felt the franchise needed a 'lighter' direction. Nolan's vision is done with the utmost intent.

I honestly don't watch many movies, but if I had to watch one, it would be this. Heath Ledgers performance just lights up the whole show, and the interaction between him and the Batman kept me interested. Especially when you go see it in IMAX, that's just an EPIC experience.
