To document the (strange at best) different yt-'treatments' of community members.

As a helpfully meant warning to what yt will do, if someone else thinks about sharing this.

I don't want the effort to search for worthwhile material, converting/uploading etc. to be in vain!

I dont think Slade had anything new to offer, but I've never heard another band thats played so many different styles of rock and had so many great songs. Probably my favourite band.

@cripescate Interesting to find a Slade lover who greatly underrates the favorite band :) Early Slade played faster and louder than practically anybody. Check out "Slade Alive!", tracks like Hear Me Calling and Born To Be Wild. Their guitar work in B2BW is the beginnings of speed and thrash metal years ahead of their time. Lots of musicians cited them as major influence - Kiss, Ramones, Ritchie Blackmore, Kurt Cobain, etc.

@elladan0891 Yeah, heh, i love the songs, I just dont get this great live band thing people say about them. Most of what ive heard by them live aside from alive & a couple tracks off the second, was terrible. The lead guitarist is awful.

@cripescate I can see why people think Slade were massive live, mate! Young Canadias like you are ignorant and prejudist about Slade and therefore make this kind of ill informed comments, as I have found. Maybe it s a matter of taste too, probably you like that ugly dreadful heavy metal that is more popular at the other side of the Atlantic. I know Slade are one of the best bands ever!!!

You think Quiet Riot or Kiss, who thank their careers to Slade, are better? Enjoy your Bieber or Gaga
