Cannabis is an oil based plant so even with vacuum purging you will still have petroleum molecules bonded with the oil based trichomes. Isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) will evaporate 100% naturally and just makes a danker concentrate.

Me and my friends always took the "keef" from our space cases (letting the kief build up over time) and then take all those keef crystals and press them with this little "keef press" space case makes... I know its not the "real" hash but to me its the best, cleanest and just the best..but it does take awhile to collect enuff kief using just one space case.. (and always use dank)

@stillsouthern2 no it is absolutly possible to extract hash with ice water its called bubble hash the reason you can use water is because the trichomes are not soluble, you esentialy freeze the glands off the the plant aided with agitation, it is then filterd thru difernt screen sizes, this is not a way to make hash oil!! it is "bubble hash" if you want oil you use butane alcohol naphtha ether etc. you are the one with misinformation

@stillsouthern2 This process works BECAUSE the active part, the THC crystals, are NOT water soluable. If you use butane or alcohol you get something else which we call goo and is another way to go. I prefer bubble hash because no other chemicals are introduced into the smoke. This method has been used for centuries and is pretty much the way it's done everywhere to make hash.

The biggest secret to making hash is what you are using to agitate the Crystals off the plant. By using a "Wooden Oar" and stirring it by hand you will make the best hash you have ever made. It will be super golden blonde compared to Greener hash. The green is caused by Over mixing with the drill . All your hash will A+

When you grind up whatever material you are using very finely it will cause the hash to be green. Mixing has nothing to do with it. I always mix 1 hour and 30 minuted with a concrete drill using a paint mixing bit. I pull out the most beautiful golden patties. Only time I pulled a green tinted hash is when it was made into powder prior to mixing.
