@Flannoman75 As far as I know, the M bars are very similar to the stock Thruxton bars as they are sold now. Obviusly they're not the same as the old clip on bars that came on them a couple of years ago.
@DaStaR90 It's a Bonneville Black, which I believe is similar to what they have recently called the T100. When bought mine, the Black had a blacked out engine, whereas the T100 had a lot of chrome and a tachometer.
Lovely job you've done on the modifying there mate! I'm currently killing time in work prior to going to collect my first triumph Bonneville from the dealer - a tangerine & white 2007 model. Can't wait to get modifying myself!!!! Ride safe dude!
I sure am enjoying it! Thanks! The modding process has already begun (1st thing - loud pipes!) I'm aiming for a more classic 1960's look with a dash of US Flat Track racer in there. Funny how I'm a Brit going for the US look and you've plumped for the Cafe Racer styling (which looks beautiful by the way). Watch this space, when I'm done, I'll post a vid! Ride safe!
@weijnblad Sorry to annoy. Some of my other vids have no music. Check out Triumph Bonneville flybys or short and sweet or short and sweet 4 or my modifications complete video.
I'm a japanese descendant, but my favourite motorcycle is the Triumph Bonneville. I love this "Classic Style" from 50's, produced in Hinckley, Leicestershire !
@kenzoyur As far as I can tell, brother, it don't matter what you're descended from. You likes what you likes. I've seen a lot of Japanese guys in Japan riding these things and Harleys too, right here on Youtube. It's my favorite too, BTW.
I can't remember if I had the rearsets on there at that time or not. I have found that the standard foot pegs and the rearsets work about equally with the M bars. Standard footpegs don't really work with clubmans though.
this must be one of my fav youtube vids. love what you've done to the bike. I have a 2003 Sprint, but I think I need a Bonneville. What exhaust do you have?
I love how it pulls that first corner in third, the torque is nice on these bikes from what I hear. Nice set up, just next time less music so I can hear that music from the exhaust a little more. Don't get me wrong, good song, just like Triumph's version better.
You should try Triumphrat. Dot net. They have a section called twins technical talk. Just go there and search for your problem, it's probably already been discussed. Thanks for the compliment.
Very nice bike. Thinking about selling my cbr 600 f4 and getting a bonneville. can u tell me about the reliabiity of the bike, thanks. Jonas from Denmark
I've never had a Triumph 650 but I've read that the modern bikes are heavier, but I would guess that the larger engine is more powerful. I can tell you that this bike, with the mods I have done, is more powerful than my 1999 Honda CB750, even though that was an inline four cylinder, which are traditionally very powerful.
Great vid there! roadrash998 could do with your camera bending up a couple of degrees! the sound sounds the biz, and with day tripper by the Beatles!! just super great work!!
thank you lunmad. your comments are greatly appreciated. my helmet cam holder is like yours but it holds the cam rightside up. your little helmet cam bracket is really the simplest and best way to do it.
Are the "M Bars" the same as the stock Thruxton bars? I'm thinking of changing my bars so I have a more upright riding position.

is it a T100? it can be recognized because of the spokes on the wheel, right? :)
