I have seen people commenting to you about how you remove comments from here. Well the comments you delete are obviously pointless to read and have no meaning. If anybody says you are bad in anyway they are deluded becuase you are extremely good and that tone on your strat is honestly the best i have heard. :) very nice.. i'm looking for new gear for the lead sound.. could you tell me which pre or kind of gear you use? mine are a D'Angelico EXL a custom made kind of Strat with GK-3 and GR-20 and a cheap But Beautiful classic one :) the amp is a roland jazz chorus 120 and a marshall stereo chorus 8240, for pedal i've got 2 boss, CS-3 compressor and RC-2 loop station.

Thanks! I made the back track myself based on an old track from early 90's/Frank Gambale.

The solo'ing is just improvisation.

Monster licks has some great licks on it, but

i dont think its the best as far as teaching you how to use scales over progressions.

The best way to learn that, is to learn lots of solo's, however you can, wether by ear, or tabs/notation/videos, etc..

You can get that sound by using the neck pickup, and picking with a little skin of your thumb brushing the string, holding the pick precisly over the bottom edge of the neck pickup. That is the sweet spot for that particular note on the G string.
