The mutation affected the OCA2 gene, and Pure blacks from Africa they dont carry that light color gene in their DNA. Same as pure Chineses or pure Mexicans, before we discovered the new world. So this is why. If you see afro american with blue, its because in their last 3 generation they mix with white.pure black NEVER !
