Has anyone had Perlutaneous Lumbar Disectomy? This technique looks amazing - you can see if on youtube and only involves a needle which is injected into the disc and removes the middle part of the disc which therefore shrinks in size. I wanted to know what peoples outcomes are? Risks?

I had this surgery 6 months ago. Pain has gone away probably around 95% than what i had before the discectomy. Very helpfull and very fast recover.

I lived from chair to chair for 5 months before i had the surgery....

Tried Chiropractor - 2 Months

Tried Spinal Decompression along w/ Muscle stim & ultra sound - 2 months

nothing helped

Months of Vicodin & Percocet only masked the pain

Had the surgery done and the next day i was up and walk without finding a chair. I was so happy. Definitely a life changing experience
