  • oh god thats not a tribute but a shame with this song lol.......

  • Wide open every night!!!

  • 2 best parts:

    1. When he sandwiches that dude between his own teammate.

2.When he drills 2 guys in a row.

  • Best Power forward ever!

  • Im really not to sure why so many people, on this video and in general bash eric lindros constantly. Have you forgotten the years when Lindros Dominated the league? Yes he has done very controversial and disrespectful things off the ice, maybe lots of people hate him for what he did to the Nordiques? Anyways dont forget the monster numbers he put up in the clutch and grab era of the mid/late 1990's. He could hit, score, skate and do everything else extremely well and entertained the fan.

  • lol lindros ...pfft

  • The most talented and best Flyer ever. And no, I didn't forget about that prick Bobby Clarke.

  • No Lindros was a cross between Gretzky and the teminator.

  • Lindros deserves a better music tribute than Creed.

  • He should've been able to live his dream to play for the Maple Leafs earlier in his career

  • I miss lindros and neely. they would have had cups and been the to best ever to play if they could have stayed healthy. and i do mean the BEST EVER, okay orr is the best ever, but still they were awesome.

  • Lindros was a cross between Ryan Getzlaf and Eric Staal.

  • @TeamCropDusters wrong. if you put Getzlaf and eric staal together you get Eric Lindros. and to bring up eric staal and say Lindros plays like him is an insult to him and the Flyers.

  • @TeamCropDusters he was a cross between fucking amazing and fucking bad ass

  • Even though I'm a diehard Blackhawks fan, I always will remember Eric Lindros back in the days when I was a kid collecting hockey cards and got his rookie card. I even read his book. He was my idol, and hopefully there is another great hockey player like him

  • Lindros' greatness on display.Greatest power forward(which in my book means greatest player) ever.End of story.

  • if i were the guy sitting next to him at 0:21 and he stood up i'd be like OH MY FUCKING GOD! WHAT IS THAT! IT'S SO BIG! xD

    P.S that's what she said.

  • Big man who can score and do goals :) it's shame, he's career was too short :(

  • Hello Guys. Name of the Song please.

  • awesome player, horrible song.

  • I don't care if Lindros didn't keep his head up or if he had bad attitude in the beginning of his career. He is and will always remain of one of the best if not the best power forward in the history of NHL. I wish he would come teach the new "NHL" how the game is supposed to be played.

  • @1banez Touche!

  • @1banez Real cool comment, man.Hope you'll make it to Lindros' HHOF induction.

  • @88BigEtrain Thanx mate, but unless the HHOF induction is held in finland, i'm afraid i can't make it lol..

  • @1banez Oh,that's too bad!But that's alright,I appreciate your supporting Lindros very much and by the way you stated your comment can I tell that you get just like me that nonsense along the lines of "keeping head up,Quebec, attitude"is meaningless and makes for a weak argument.Keep in touch, brother.

  • @1banez He is the best power forward ever.No weaknesses,a perfect game. And that includes details such as face-offs,play along the boards etc.Unstoppable.Legally that is."The head up" argument is a weak one.Every forward has his head down yet they won't get hit.Couldn't beat him in fights, scare him by playing physically against him, overpower him. What else was there left to do?The head.....

  • @1banez Yeah he may have had a shortend career due to the fact he was so huge in juniors and never needed to keep his head up back then. But look at his points per game stats in the NHL and that man deserves to be in the Hall of Fame in Toronto. He had the hands of Lemuix with the tenacity of Terry O'Reilly. Never since has their been a power forward like him and there probably never will be.

  • Eric Lindros Was Such an Amazing player, except he had to keep his head up, as we all know. This man, Dispite Injury, Had over 1000 Points. Amazing. A True NHL Great. Screw Crosby.

  • He was a defense-man's worst nightmare. that's why scotty had to put the big man down.

  • Comment removed

  • @amadisdemitrius scotty yea, scotty elbowed lindros in the head....live by the sword die by the sword. big ole' scotty has massive concussion problems himself

  • Eric should have sign with the Nordiques, he would have move to colorado and wouldnt had to play against scott stevens 6-8 times a year

  • prettiest man in the nhl during his time, big and handsome, and most well shaped nose in the sport

  • their duh

  • Lindros was a rare talent most will never see again in there lifetime.

  • he was a awsome player ... but a freaking crybaby for not playing with quebec...

Avalanche won stanley cup flyers dint ... at least they got some kind of revenge on him

  • LOL when I saw this video, the first 10 comments where like -2s and stuff. Why are people butching one of the BETTER Power forwards hockey has ever had. There isn't a single weakness in this MONSTER, except, being able to keep his head up. Get a grip people, I see it on every Lindros video, geees! -.-

  • That's because they are all living in the ear of Crosby.. Crosby this, and Crosby that.... Ugh..

  • Oh okay, that explains it.

  • Yeah I know right..stanley cup this, stanley cup that..UGH

  • @MikeyB99 crosby is good, but he is such a pussy

  • @RainbowSixVegasII

its because Lindros was a douche bag. Drafted in the OHL, didnt go to the team. drafted in the nhl, nope too good for that team too. his attitude cursed his career and his popularity.

  • @RainbowSixVegasII You're right on,man. But the thing with "keep his head up" just doesn't work as anargument against him or as his weakness.Every player has their head down at certain moments as a puck control is much easier and it's just natural.I just watched Mike Modano's highlights and there were carbon-copy moments of him having his head down as he carried the puck, yet he didn't get hit.Lindros' head was deliberately targeted as that was the only way to stop him. That's the bottom line.

  • fuck you octavarium23 you dont know what the fuck your talking about stupid dip shit he obviously had his reasons your a douche he was great your just in denial you fuck

  • what a douch bag lindros was.

  • The most damn gorgeous man on the ice. No matter what people say I will always love Lindros! Yes, he had his ups and downs but at least the guy could play hockey. And how!!!

  • I don't understand how people can like Lindros when he had total disrespect for the game of hockey by refusing to play for the team that chose him 1st overall. How dare he refuse a position that millions of other kids would have gave up almost anything for. He thought he was that great. But he'll only have 0 cups and a few concussions. He is worse than Avery and Bertuzzi combined.

  • "he had his ups and downs but at least the guy could play hockey. And how!!!"

i think you meant he often had his hips up and down, and that he was good at fucking dumb, clueless dutch sluts! and how!

  • Oh man, you are the most dumbest swine ever in this world. You are so stupid and pathetic. And even if he did...so what??????? Is it your business if people like Eric or not? If you are so great why don't you go skating yourself and do what Eric did? But no...you can't even talk normally. And if you would play hockey I hope someone will hit you so hard your brains will be crushed out because you don't use them anyway

  • "you are the most dumbest"

    "you can't even talk normally"

oh the irony... "most dumbest" = lol.

keep shooting yourself in the foot like the dumb dutch slut you are.

  • Listen mate, you better shut up because you have nothing new to say. Tell me...did your mother taught you to behave like this? Is it so lonely in your Life you have to sit behind a pc and calling people you don't even know names? Is it so hard not to be liked by anybody in your miserable world you have to spit your anger and frustration out on other people? Gheeez....I knew you were extremely dumb but insane is more closer to the truth. Shoot in the foot? Haha! You watch way too much movies.

  • lol, you're one of the best troll victims i've had in a while.

feel free to leave a comment on my profile page, next to all the other dumbasses.

P.S. "shoot yourself in the foot" is a common english saying, you ignorant slut. here's another one that fits you quite well: ignorance is bliss.

  • Oh my fucking God! Praise the Lord! I'm invited to leave a comment on his profile page! Hallelujah! What else do you expect me to say: Thanks for the honor?

You know what.....you make me laugh. You make me laugh real loud. Here is something for you...: schuif het in je smoel en stik erin. It fits you perfectly ...LULLO. That's another one for you.

  • from galilgade:

"If you think Hockey is only broadcasted in the US and Canada you really need to get an eye surgery"

"Thirth of all you have absolutely no brain"

    oh the irony, LOL

an eye surgery? what the fuck? that makes zero sense you stupid dutch blonde.

now bring out that huge dildo, go to your pictures of lindros, and stop commenting.

  • And again it shows how pathetic and brainless you are. That huge dildo is stuck in your own dirty rotten mouth so shut up and go back to the lavatory. Or do us all a pleasure and kill yourself. Do you really think I care about what a lousy loser like you have to say? If you were a human okay but you are nothing more than a pathetic lousy rotten stinky rat

  • The Whole Team was a Beyond amazing! Everybody!

  • I heard their was once a sign in the crowd when Lindros was with the Rangers, Vs the Flyers. And the sign read, The more they Boo you, The more they miss you.. I miss Eric Lindros alot, he was a great player, and a great Captain. He had some great games. I dont care what people say. Lindros, LeClair, and Renberg Were Magic for the Flyers! Winning or Losing, Doesnt matter, They were Awesome!!! from the bottom of my heart! Those guys were Awesome!

  • don't forget clarke, linseman, brindamour, and recchi

  • But that wasn'T the legion of doom, they played at the time on another line or later with him, Legion of Doom was Lindros, Renberg and LeClair

  • @romanoswestwood The other line was dubbed the Crazy 8's with Recchi (#8) & Brent Fedyk (#18).

  • Killer on the ice

  • Inconsistent player who never lived to his billing. I remember Lindros prediction to win the 96 playoffs vs Florida and then watching Jovonowski own him. 88 had some good games and many more average ones.

  • Lindros while he was playing between 91 and 98 was probably the most dominant player on the ice. its hard to be dominant with a bunch of average games

  • A great player!!

  • I remember reading an article about Clarke askin Lindros to get on the flight back with the team and be looked at by team doc but he felt something was wrong and stayed behind and Leclair stayed with him. In the hotel LeClair went to check on Lindros and found him in a tub of water having trouble breathing, went to the hospital and he had a collapsed lung. Doctors said if he got on the airplane the cabin pressure would have killed him. Eric Lindros one of the most dominant players of his time.

  • Unbelievable CLEAN bodychecker.

Almost always taking the body with his shoulder.

No elbow hits to the chin that we all know from another "great" hitter... no.4 (and I'm not that big fan of Lindros)

Admit it, great player but was worn out physically over his career.

  • Lindros was great, all around player. Skilled, tough, could fight. I agree thanks for everything Lindros. Flyers management blows sometimes.

  • This video made me remember and appreciate what he did for us up until he caused all that nonsense with Clarke (I don't him like anyway). I grew up watching this guy play, and he was my favorite. I started watching them in around 93-94, and I loved the Flyers and I know that Lindros was a big reason for that. Thanks for the great years 88, and I wish you would have been there for the captain's ceremony, I'm sure you would have gotten a big ovation despite all the problems we've had with you.

  • what song is this?

  • finally some lindros fans, nice to see. he was the best, and i miss the old 90s days as well

  • Lindros was the man

  • lindros was the best to watch. i miss the good ole days.

  • Big E,EL 88, please come back... it is still early, look at the Chelios... :)

  • its a shame that he declined to go to the closing of the spectrum captain ceremony!

  • Before the concussions, by far, the most dominate player and this coming from a Leaf fan.

  • This baby doesn't deserve any tribute

  • 88 forever

  • miss you buddy

  • We were all witnesses. No man has ever made me immulate his style of play more. Thank you ERIC

  • favorite hockey player ever

  • What is the songname pls?

  • Right Now by Van Halen

  • what ever happened to that peter forsberg guy?

  • Big Eric, come back please

  • Thanks for the vid. Vintage and TRUE Big Eric. Love it.

  • Was an exciting time when Lindros came to the Flyers. Shame he had so many problems with injuries. We never got to see his full potential.

  • thx~ mikey~

Great 2 c Big Eric again!!!

  • Loved watching lindros play with the flyers since the beginning. He truly was a talent. Then the league basically shut him down by trying to take his head off on the house. He wasn't the same after a few concussions but i'll always remember the good times. Thanks for the video!

  • bobby clarke had some skill but was more heart and won cups.

  • Most talented and effective Flyer to ever suit up. You hear that Bobby Clarke, you dick?

  • @Zaphrod88 That's what i"m talking about,my man.Any chance of you showing up for Lindros' HHOF induction?

  • most these highlights are givin me don cherry's rock 'em sock 'em nostalgia. lindros was a big mamma jamma, i just wish he hadn't turned into a fat bastard by the time he came to dallas

  • This video is the best ive seen so far. Thank you for taking the time. Hes my all time fav hockey player.

  • yeah me 2!!
