My 1993 has K&N filter with modified air box ( i cut off all the plastic piping after the air box for throttle response) and my exhaust mufflers are the Flowmaster Delta 40 series. Running Amsoil 7500 XL 10w30. All together good for a 5-10 hp gain depending on climate/humidex. For all you considering the mufflers for this year its.. #942041 ..make sure to order two as they are sold as singles!!

how do you put true duels on a transverse engine? both sides of the exhaust manifold run into on down pipe and eventually split. do you mean true duels as in no cat, resonator, and muffler? true duels is when you have a rwd car and run 2 pipes straight from the headers back.
Im as close to "tru duals" as possible. I have the exahuast split after the manifold. So its two pipes all the way under the car. Meaning the split isnt at the back like most GPs. Thats what i meant by tru duals.
then its not "true" dual, if there isn't a completely different pipe for each bank. It doesn't matter where the split occurs, its still a dual out exhaust.
@AndrewIrizarry I have a fwd Cadillac that's a v8. a car doesn't have to be rwd to have true duel exhaust, just needs to have a header split (so an inline can have duel exhaust if it has 2 headers or a header into 2 from 2 separate collectors

@Rollitlika24 how did you run true duals on a fwd vehicle? the crossover should have made that impossible. ive always wanted true duals on my 98. im stuck with the y pipe and cant figure out how to get around the crossover, especially because of the heat from it getting to the throttle body.

Well its not cheap. But i knew a guy at the muffler shop. But what i have done is, header, high flow cat, 3 inch exhaust all the way to the back. Do not take of the cat, it preserves the sounds in my opinion. I have engine work done also so yours wont sound identical. But it should sound sexy. You can also just do highflow cat and header then straight back. Wont be as deep though.
Hey bro, I have a '93 grand prix and I just had 2 4 chambered flowmaster exhaust put on it and they sound awesome but does your exhaust noise die down after you get over 2 1/2 rpms? Bcuz the flowmasters rumble until alil over 2 1/2 rpms but at 3 it gets quiet? Any ideas how I can fix that?
Is that a older 3.1 engine the one that says Multi Port on the top??? Because I had a 93 cutlass supreme and a 92 Grand Prix that had both those engines and they both made that same purring sound just like that and I loved it. I wish my 2000 Grand Prix made that sound.
