I'm somewhat of a "newbie", and I love the way you explain a stitch I have wanted to learn for a long time. My question is; how do decrease the number of scales on a row, so you could eventually work a square?
Hi there, I am a long time crocheter, crochetyer, cro.....I love yarn lol...anyways I love this tutorial, and I am also a Nail Tech and couldn't help but fall in love with the fact that your nails match your yarn too!
Excellent video. Very clear and slow instructions. I actually crocheted along with you. Now I understand completely. Thank you for taking time to do this for us, I really really appreciate it.
Very clear and easy instructions! I can see it being a little bit difficult for beginners but thank you for the help, exactly what I wanted [am going to make a shawl]
I have been trying to figure this out so that I could make my granddaughter some wrist/arm warmers so that the crocodile stirches would just cover the top of her hand and be in a point near her fingers - a bigTHANK YOU for showing us how to do this and increase - awesome and so easy!!! I can't wait to see her so I can measure around her wrist/arm to do this and maybe add some beads to the project!!! Thanks again!
your tutorial is really brilliant but can you please show how to do the triangle with crocodile stitch top to bottom(reverse direction) not the whole shawl just with a small triangle.
This is a great stitch. Thank you for putting it up. My scales come out looking rounded. How can I make them a little more pointed looking? Again Thank You.
@1poochiedog You could try a picot stitch in between the 2 sides of the petal .. so after you do 5 dc try a picot and then finish the other 5 dc's on the second half :)
I like your instructional video, you are easy to follow, however, your call outs "Find all my videos on the description box" and "Subscribe for future tutorials" are distracting, is there any way possible to put these call outs at the end so they are not distracting during your tutorials? Please don't take comment as criticism. Thank you so much for sharing your talents :)
@crochet65 Thanks for your feedback :) I am trying to metion it in the video when i am talking instead of adding it after with the anotaions, I will always be open to suggestions :) thanks for watching :)
No offense to your color coordinated nails....but they got in the way of seeing what you were doing.....just an fyi...thanks for posting this though. Saved me from buying the pattern!
@Lnknitz Thanks for your honest feedback, Yes i have removed my nails now as i realise that were to distracting. They looked good when i wasnt making video';s hehehe :)
I don`t understand english very well but I can still understand you when doing a project...thanx.....by the way....do you have this crocodile stitch shawl crochet in written instructions?

10fairyland 4 months ago
@10fairyland Hi, Depending on what yarn you are using. I used 8 ply and I think I will uses 300gms of yarn :) Hope that helps you
bobwilson123 4 months ago
@bobwilson123 Thank you so much =) I'll be using a light weight yarn. I'm thinking it should be close to the yarn you are using.
