@TheThomastank1 It's not that I don't like them, I think they were the worst of the bunch. Each all have episodes that are really good, and some that are really bad.
@historyboy08 not true if you read the origonal books and stories by Rev. Wilbert V Awdry and the first 5 or so seasons of the television series. The books had great story lines and plots (based on some actual stories from railways around the UK) and Thomas wasnt even the main character of the story he actually never made an apperance until the second book. The origonal Tv program was filmed on (and by) a layout built by Rev. W Awdry, Christopher Awdry, and Britt Allcroft.
@historyboy08 Oh shut up you stupid loser. Thomas is NOT a disgrace to railfans and stupid model railroaders. I give you a 1 out of 10. You are stupid. You are also retarded and ugly.
@Thomasfan1673 Mm, probably Season 15. More characters and locations, and better music. But both stand at the same level when it comes to storytelling. Season 14 was better than both.
@TheUnluckyTug02 Hey, I like Season 13. FYI, in part 2 of this review, I can see why you wouldn't review Wonky Whistle. I don't like that episode either.
i felt the same way you did when you read the description of Up, Up and Away. when i saw it, i couldn't belive how crappy it was, and i was really expecting to see the red balloon in the episode. but no, instead we get 3 balloons blown away, poped, and stuck in tunnels. because of the way the balloons were transported to the fair, i thought the episode was rather unrealistic.
@TTTEnetwork Or better yet, him not appearing at all! Like in parts of Season 12 (Rosie's Funfair Special, Gordon Takes a Shortcut, and Mountain Marvel)
In reference to 'Happy Hiro', perhaps the reason why he's still on Sodor is because diesels may have taken over his homeland.Well, in HiT's mind and world perhaps.
@HankAmericanEngine I think Hiro is still on Sodor because A: Sir Topham Hatt wants to keep him or B: Hiro's homeland doesn't need him anymore since he's been away long enough based on Hero of the Rails.
I guess what I really didn't like about 'James to the Rescue' was James' stupidity. James was indeed in somewhat character, being all stuck up and what not, but even he should know that pushing/pulling a derailed engine accomplishes nothing, or in his case, just makes it worse.
And Toby just stood there, ASKING James if he could get Rocky. Toby should have known better.
@TheFattHatt1943 Yeah, James was a tad stupid, but, as Percy said in Hero of the Rails: "James isn't wise at all!" So, I let that one slid. :P I agree with you about Toby. You'd think he'd suggest bringing Rocky to begin with!
Oh yeah, is the RWS reference for Henry meaning him using special coal or him shunting both Arry and Bert sort of like him shunting Bear and D199 in the RWS?
Spencer the Grand was my favourite episode, but I agree Scruff should have appeared and Whiff and Mavis should getter bigger roles and episodes to themeselves and the fog was annoying, also Fergus or narrow gauge engines could have appeared Spencer could have accidentally visited somewhere on the narrow gauge railway or Fergus's cement works, but I like Spencer and I''m happy he finally got a main role since Gordon and Spencer and Edward the Great that's why I like it.
What was your favorite thing about season 15? For me, it was the returns of Bertie, Butch and Stanley. I also very much enjoyed the fact that the lead roles belonging to Henry, Edward and Toby have improved.
@DannerBoone I dunno, I guess it'd have to be Bertie, Butch, and Stanley getting big roles too, and Trevor's return. I'm not sure what my favorite thing about it is though.
I agree about Percy's New Friends and Up, Up and Away. I was expecting Up, Up and Away to have a different storyline and I was rather disappointed. It was very average and quite silly. Percy's New Friends definitely showed that Percy's persona is being dumbed down which I hate. I also hate how Percy's US voice has gotten more babyish and girlish than usual. It happened several times throughout the episode. I'm hoping that Percy's character will change back to normal soon.
The reason I hate James to the Rescue, personally, is because of the horrendous voice acting ("I...am...a...rescue...engine!"), James' stupidity (the steam tram comment) and the crash, which looked cool but could be seen coming from Mars.
Ii do think this series was better than the last one but I hope when the little engines come back in to the series they all have good story and not make them silly.
@TMRReturns Okay and its not crap and i'm saying thease because after watching Happy Hiro and hearing Hiro saying that Jobi Logs Grow on his homeland that gave me an idea maybe Hiro is from Misty Island and if i were Hiros Engineer i would Blow His Whistle alot.
Ya also forgot to mention the higher contrast in Gordon and Ferdinand :P
Also that the first three eps were like sort of a trilogy (if you will) because each engine was given a 'reward' (pretty stupid ones, but at least the trilogy of the logging Locos made up for the stupidity in a sense)...
@Zorran202 Eh, I didn't really think the error in coloring for 'Gordon and Ferdinand' was that important, so I just ignored it altogether. :P It was corrected when it aired in the US.
I personally like the logging locos, but I wasn't impressed with their episodes, although I thoroughly enjoyed 'Emily and Dash'. I think trilogies and 2-parters are awesome and the last 2-parter we had was the Jack and the Pack eps in Season 6, so having a brand new 3-parter was an improvement over past seasons.
@TheUnluckyTug02 just hope they'll improve by Seasons 16 or 17.... and I just wish Thomas was not featured in EVERY episode in the CGI series (even one-off roles count)....
@Zorran202 Well, there have been signs that Season 16 will be better than this season. And I've heard rumors that Season 17 will begin a new writing style. Something tells me we won't be disappointed. ;)
@up4004 I doubt it, the island in Hiro's flashback had people in kimonos and everything. Plus, if he came from Misty Island, he would've arrived in the tunnel, but he didn't. Also, Hiro said his island was "a long, long way away" Misty Island and Sodor are connected with a tunnel, so Misty Island can't be that far away. Thirdly, Hiro would've known the logging locos in Happy Hiro, but he didn't.
@ThomasPercyandToby2 Maybe Hiro lived on Misty Island before Sodor Discovered it and the Tunnel and i think theres a far away part on Misty Island that has what is seen in Hiros Flashbacks and i think thats a village the Logging Locos don't know and about and never been to it.
@up4004 I highly doubt they'd have a Japanese-themed area on Misty Island. The logging locos don't have sheds and there are no buildings to be seen there. The same can be said for people.
@ThomasPercyandToby2 Maybe The Logging Locos have a hiddin Railway Yard and Hiros homeland must be on a another Island close to Misty Island and there connected by a Trestle and maybe the Logging Locos and Hiro diden't Discover it.
@ThomasPercyandToby2 Maybe Hiro was built in Japan and then was regauged and sent to a homeland that looks like Japan and worked there and diden't know the island he was one was connected to Misty Island.
Hiro was built AND STAYED in Japan for years, until he was needed on Sodor and left in the siding. The fact you think otherwise is ludacris and downright laughable. If Hiro was built to stay on Misty Island, he would have an American, or British, accent, he would've recognised, and acknowledged, the Logging Locos; even in MIR and he would've known where everything on Misty Island was in Happy Hiro
@ThomasPercyandToby2 Okay but maybe during his time in Japan he could've been sent to Misty Island to Haul Jobi Logs before The Logging Locos got there.
@up4004 HIRO DID NOT GO TO MISTY ISLAND BEFORE HE CAME TO SODOR! If he had, he would've known where everything was. I don't get what your obsession is of linking Hiro with Misty Island, but the simple fact is this: the ONLY time Hiro went to Misty Island was in Happy Hiro
@ThomasPercyandToby2 Okay but i think Hiro is so Old i think lost some of his Memories and one of them was working on Misty Island Hauling Jobi Logs and Hiro Metioned that Jobi Logs came from his Homeland and Maybe Hiro took the Jobi Logs to the Docks on Misty Island where the Ships shiped it to Japan and then was sent to Sodor from Japan.
@up4004 ...I think you've completely lost it. Hiro can't have lost his memories if he can remember what he did before and after he came to Sodor. And the fact you're trying to tie him into Misty Island is laughable. You have NO proof that he went to Misty Island, but I have a lot of evidence to say Hiro never went. I bet the only reason you're saying that is because Jobi trees are there. Trees can grow in TWO DIFFERENT LOCATIONS, it doesn't necessarily mean Hiro went there.
@ThomasPercyandToby2 I don't care and i'm saying thease things because after watching Happy Hiro and hearing Hiro saying Jobi Logs grow on his homeland and that gave me an idea that Hiro might be from Misty Island and if i were Hiros Engineer i would blow his Whistle alot.
@up4004 If Hiro said Jobi logs grew on his HOMELAND, and he was on MISTY ISLAND when he said it, that MUST means that he DOESN'T, HASN'T and NEVER WILL live on Misty Island. Bash and Dash were sent there as a punishment (if you actually watched MIR you'd know that), so unless someone did something REALLY bad on Sodor, he wouldn't go there.
Your views are really pathetic, and I don't agree with any of them.
He's from Japan (hence the flashback back in Hero of the Rails where the place had fancy buildings you'd see in asian countries, but none on Misty Island and his type was also from Japan, just modified to run on standard gauge rails)
@Zorran202 Oh i know hes been modified to run on Standard Gauge Rails and maybe Misty Island and Hiros Home are connected maybe the Islands are close to each other and there connected by a Trestle and maybe The Logging Locos were too Silly find that Bridge and Hiro hasen't Discoverd it.
@up4004 We didn't even know that Misty Island even existed back at the start of Hero of the Rails and Season 13! I really doubt that Hiro's 'Homeland' (aka Japan) and Misty Island were close to each other in a sliiiight margin... Let's be honest, if Hiro did live 'nearby' Misty Island, then he WOULDN'T have needed to travel on a ship!! Or how about take a looks see on a world map... You'll be surprised how far these places are from each other...
@Zorran202 Oh i know there far away i just think that maybe Hiro lived on another island that has the same Cultures and Japan and Asia and is connected to Misty Island By Trestle and Hiro diden't even know about it and this means Hiro diden't know about the Misty Island - Japsia Bridge,Misty Island and the Misty Island Tunnel thats why he came to Sodor by Ship.
@up4004 Dude.... are you still wanting to continue this rant on something that's not even true for Hiro?? Face it, you're not gonna win this because Hiro IS FROM JAPAN AND NOT FROM MISTY ISLAND!!! Get it through your head! I'll say this one more time... Hiro lived on Japan his whole majority of his life before coming to Sodor and NOT on Misty Island... What sort of proof do you have to back this up? Oh wait, NOTHING..... Hiro just went on Misty Island once in Happy Hiro and that's that!
@Zorran202 Okay and when i saw this review showing all of Hiros visits it looked like he remained on Sodor i guess he doesen't want to leave his friends and decides to seek refuge on Misty Island With The Logging Locos.
I prefer this and TheFattHatt's reviews. A lot of the noobs give (all) the episodes over 8/10. Sure, some are worthy of, at least, 8, but not all. At least some people know what they're on about :P. I really liked Edward's voice from the start of the CGI series, it really suited his personality. Bash and Dash's are... meh and Hiro is just a mardarse :P. If he wants to go home so bad... he should XD
@ThomasPercyandToby2 I could understand if Hiro made one appearance every season, like Spencer sort of does. But they make it look like he's permanently on Sodor! And yet, he complains about his homeland. :P I like Edward's voice in both versions, but I sort of leaning towards his UK voice now... I can't stand B&D's UK voices. Their US ones are much more suiting in my opinion.
@TheUnluckyTug02 Yeah. They gave Flynn an American voice in both versions (and I think it really suits him, makes him sound really heroic), and I just wish they did the same with B&D. Ferdinand's is fine though. If only he said more than "That's right" more often :P
I think for my favorite two Series 15 eps., I'd have to go with 'Edward the Hero' & 'Henry's Happy Coal'. They were very well written compared to the other crap that the show has put out lately.
And I'm actually quite glad this series aired earlier then it should of. I mean, imagine if they went back to the old style of releasing 1 series per year. That would have meant we would have had to wait a whole year after Series 14, just to see the worst series ever produced. That would've sucked.
@TheFattHatt1943 I agree. The season was too repetitive and boring for me. Had it been using just the old models, I probably would have ripped my eyes out. Half the points I give to each episode is for the awesome animation that makes the picture much more fun to look at.
I like your generous views! :) It's much like mine! (I didn't actually make a video but still :P) It's nice to hear a review that makes the best of what we have now! (Not whine about how bad it is compared to the classic series like a certain forum I can mention...)
@SkarloeyRailway01 Thanks! I like to look at the best parts of each episode we receive. But, there are eps that just totally turn me away from them. i.e. Thomas' Frosty Friend, Up Up and Away, Wonky Whistle, etc...
Is this a joke? If it is it's mildly funny. If not, this is retarded.

If Hiro was built to stay on Misty Island, he would have an American, or British, accent, he would've recognised, and acknowledged, the Logging Locos; even in MIR and he would've known where everything on Misty Island was in Happy Hiro
ThomasPercyandToby2 10 months ago
@ThomasPercyandToby2 Okay but maybe during his time in Japan he could've been sent to Misty Island to Haul Jobi Logs before The Logging Locos got there.
up4004 10 months ago
@up4004 HIRO DID NOT GO TO MISTY ISLAND BEFORE HE CAME TO SODOR! If he had, he would've known where everything was. I don't get what your obsession is of linking Hiro with Misty Island, but the simple fact is this: the ONLY time Hiro went to Misty Island was in Happy Hiro
ThomasPercyandToby2 10 months ago
@ThomasPercyandToby2 Okay but i think Hiro is so Old i think lost some of his Memories and one of them was working on Misty Island Hauling Jobi Logs and Hiro Metioned that Jobi Logs came from his Homeland and Maybe Hiro took the Jobi Logs to the Docks on Misty Island where the Ships shiped it to Japan and then was sent to Sodor from Japan.
up4004 10 months ago
@up4004 ...I think you've completely lost it. Hiro can't have lost his memories if he can remember what he did before and after he came to Sodor. And the fact you're trying to tie him into Misty Island is laughable. You have NO proof that he went to Misty Island, but I have a lot of evidence to say Hiro never went. I bet the only reason you're saying that is because Jobi trees are there. Trees can grow in TWO DIFFERENT LOCATIONS, it doesn't necessarily mean Hiro went there.
ThomasPercyandToby2 10 months ago
@ThomasPercyandToby2 I don't care and i'm saying thease things because after watching Happy Hiro and hearing Hiro saying Jobi Logs grow on his homeland and that gave me an idea that Hiro might be from Misty Island and if i were Hiros Engineer i would blow his Whistle alot.
up4004 10 months ago
@up4004 If Hiro said Jobi logs grew on his HOMELAND, and he was on MISTY ISLAND when he said it, that MUST means that he DOESN'T, HASN'T and NEVER WILL live on Misty Island. Bash and Dash were sent there as a punishment (if you actually watched MIR you'd know that), so unless someone did something REALLY bad on Sodor, he wouldn't go there.
Your views are really pathetic, and I don't agree with any of them.
ThomasPercyandToby2 10 months ago
@ThomasPercyandToby2 Okay and your right Hiro has lived in Japan all his Life and i saw MIR.
up4004 10 months ago
@up4004 Uuuum no...
He's from Japan (hence the flashback back in Hero of the Rails where the place had fancy buildings you'd see in asian countries, but none on Misty Island and his type was also from Japan, just modified to run on standard gauge rails)
Zorran202 10 months ago
@Zorran202 Oh i know hes been modified to run on Standard Gauge Rails and maybe Misty Island and Hiros Home are connected maybe the Islands are close to each other and there connected by a Trestle and maybe The Logging Locos were too Silly find that Bridge and Hiro hasen't Discoverd it.
up4004 10 months ago
@up4004 We didn't even know that Misty Island even existed back at the start of Hero of the Rails and Season 13! I really doubt that Hiro's 'Homeland' (aka Japan) and Misty Island were close to each other in a sliiiight margin... Let's be honest, if Hiro did live 'nearby' Misty Island, then he WOULDN'T have needed to travel on a ship!! Or how about take a looks see on a world map... You'll be surprised how far these places are from each other...
Zorran202 10 months ago
@Zorran202 Oh i know there far away i just think that maybe Hiro lived on another island that has the same Cultures and Japan and Asia and is connected to Misty Island By Trestle and Hiro diden't even know about it and this means Hiro diden't know about the Misty Island - Japsia Bridge,Misty Island and the Misty Island Tunnel thats why he came to Sodor by Ship.
up4004 10 months ago
@up4004 Dude.... are you still wanting to continue this rant on something that's not even true for Hiro?? Face it, you're not gonna win this because Hiro IS FROM JAPAN AND NOT FROM MISTY ISLAND!!! Get it through your head! I'll say this one more time... Hiro lived on Japan his whole majority of his life before coming to Sodor and NOT on Misty Island... What sort of proof do you have to back this up? Oh wait, NOTHING..... Hiro just went on Misty Island once in Happy Hiro and that's that!
Zorran202 10 months ago

ThomasPercyandToby2 10 months ago
@ThomasPercyandToby2 I could understand if Hiro made one appearance every season, like Spencer sort of does. But they make it look like he's permanently on Sodor! And yet, he complains about his homeland. :P I like Edward's voice in both versions, but I sort of leaning towards his UK voice now... I can't stand B&D's UK voices. Their US ones are much more suiting in my opinion.
TheUnluckyTug02 10 months ago

TheFattHatt1943 10 months ago
@TheFattHatt1943 I agree. The season was too repetitive and boring for me. Had it been using just the old models, I probably would have ripped my eyes out. Half the points I give to each episode is for the awesome animation that makes the picture much more fun to look at.
TheUnluckyTug02 10 months ago
I like your generous views! :) It's much like mine! (I didn't actually make a video but still :P) It's nice to hear a review that makes the best of what we have now! (Not whine about how bad it is compared to the classic series like a certain forum I can mention...)
SkarloeyRailway01 10 months ago
@SkarloeyRailway01 Thanks! I like to look at the best parts of each episode we receive. But, there are eps that just totally turn me away from them. i.e. Thomas' Frosty Friend, Up Up and Away, Wonky Whistle, etc...
