I'll tell you why they were walking that way . . . the Flaming Moe was 99% Crusty the Clown Cough Syrup! The entire town of Springfield was doing the Dextromethorphan shuffle! I swear on a bottle of Tussin that myself and a girl were robing out when we turned on this episode part way in when it first aired and we kept saying that everyone seemed like they were robo tripping and then at the end low and behold the entire town was drinking a drink that was 99% Crusty the Clown Cough Syrup!

@bradalfk Aerosmith are the first famous people to be in The Simpsons which explains why they aren't drawn very well. And don't forget this was made in 1991, The Simpsons weren't perfectly drawn and animated at that time.
