@slipknotmaggott666 Others do, it just depends on how the park has the control system programmed. I can only speak from experience working at the Georgia park, there they pretty much all flashed like that during a startup (because most control panels did not have lamp test buttons).
I worked on a wooden coaster called the Giant Dipper at Belmont Park and the control console has many buttons but its really simple to operate. Its basically hold the brakes for two seconds then release then let the brakes catch the train then pump the brakes 3-4 times to bring the train to a halt.
Cool. I guess I was thrown seeing the two panels close like that. I guess the one on the right is for the transfer. Thanks for this! There's a few panels I always wanted to see-this kinda takes some of the mystery away.
gotta love controlling a roller coaster <3

i knew that was a B&M! they are the only panels ive seen where all the lights flash at the same time like that. Silver bullet is the same way
slipknotmaggott666 1 year ago
@slipknotmaggott666 A lot of coasters do that when you start them up. It's a lamp test so the operators can see if any of the bulbs are out.

@fyadcorp Ride Trouble Light
pretty much the system saying there was a fault either in programming or sensors and it stops the trains in the nearest blocks and holds dispatch
