Hey all, I'm a private pilot from the US and I justed moved to Bangkok for work. Is there a good general aviation aiport near Bangkok? I presume Suvarnabhumi is primarily commercial aviation, but I suppose I could be wrong about this.

Yes it is the main airport of Bangkok, it includes domestic flights and international flights all around the world. The old airport Don Muang also deals with some domestic flights.

Yes, this is Siam General Aviation. I've been working with them as a pilot for 3 months. The aircraft is a Cessna 208B Grand Caravan.

This is aboard Siam General Aviation, right? Interesting timing on posting this video. Two days ago I was dropping my parents off at Suvarnabhumi and was wondering, since I had flown SGA from Hua Hin to Don Meuang before, whether they were operating into the new airport or were still using the general aviation terminal at Don Meuang. I guess I know the answer now!
