@Texarmageddon I thought the same thing until I drove one. I've had two Z28s(LT-1), a trans am and a 5.0 mstang. The Eclipse GT(not the GS) will run with them all stock. I believe the 99 mustang GT is qicker but the eclipse GT will run with it pretty close and with a good driver might take it if the mustang is sleeping on the eclipse. I said what I said to just mess with you. Believe me its not dirt slow.

Listen you ignorant fucks its a FOUR CYLINDER. Do some homework, and look at the numbers. Bring a stock 99-94 GT my way, and my GT will pull on it hard. The only Fords that have held up to my car on the street are the new 300HP models. What you people fail to understand is that the 4G Eclipse GT is no joke. Its not the fastest car around, but holds its own quite well.

Anybody who lines up a GS or GT against a built up Mustang with no power adders is on dope anyway.

666 is correct. Those are the 17" rims that come on the GS. The GT has 18" rims that look totally different. And yes, the Eclipse GT will kick the Mustang's ass pretty badly.

FYI, I drive a '94 Z28. Don't get me wrong, I'll take the throaty V8 sound and torque of an American muscle car any day, but this video is stupid. Of course Mustang GT will outrun a 2.4L 4-cylinder.
