  • Its really beautiful how most of the people in the audience stay expressionless due to the beauty of real music...

  • 12 people didn't make enough love to take what they wanted

  • Comment removed

  • and in the end... the love you take is equal to the love you make!!

  • i cried before watching

  • I can't believe this asshole stole this song from the Beetles. Music today is so unoriginal!!!!! Srsly, write your own music people!!!

  • @smadaydoc OMG! Are you serious?!?! This is Sir Paul McCartney.

  • @smadaydoc This is Paul McCartney, and Paul was one of the Beatles. After the Beatles split up, he still performed their old songs, to keep their music alive. Anyway, Paul was the one who wrote this song from the Beatles, so it's not even stealing, it's just re-peforming some of the old songs that he wrote.

  • @smadaydoc u sir, are the stupidest-ass beatles fan i have ever met

  • @smadaydoc hes the one who wrote it

  • @smadaydoc Paul wrote this song.....

  • @smadaydoc Nice one you troll

  • @smadaydoc Alright I'll be the one to say it cause i know everyone else is. you should be smacked in the fucking mouth with Ringo's dick and raped by a huge black gentleman until you bleed out the ass and during all of this you will be forced to listen to Styx. i hope you burn in hell you incompetant TWAT! now go rub your self off in the bathroom and wait for your demise you stupid CUNT.

  • @smadaydoc Are you for real????? PAUL MCCARTNEY WROTE THESE SONGS. GET A FREAKIN' CLUE!!!!!!!! He can damn well play this song any old time he wants because, once again, HE WROTE THESE SONGS!!!!!!!!!!!! DUH!!!!!!!!! (I swear. I can't believe you wrote an idiotic comment and just left it here for the entire world to read. I would be so embarrassed if I were you.)

  • I've never seen a video where he rips on his guitar. Good stuff.

  • A beautiful and sad song since it marked an end of an era.

  • This is flippin great music just beautiful. And then he rocks it out at the end. Kickin ass..Too good. Peace, MA

  • 3:08 you can hear Linda singing, :(

  • You say Bruno Mars, I say Guns'n Roses

You say Hannah Montana, I say Aerosmith

You say Owl City, I say Bon Jovi

You say Jonas Brothers, I say Johnny Cash

You say Taylor Swift, I say AC/DC

You say Justin Bieber, I say Fuck You

95% of teens these days listen to the same gay, crappy pop over and over again. If you're one of the 5% who still listens to real music, thumb this up, then copy and paste it to at least five videos. Don't let the spirit of rock and roll die!

  • I love to see how music makes people happy...

  • thje musicality of this man is unmatched... just heavenly... can't put words on it..

  • Hamish can sing, can play the bass and some rhythm guitar, but he sucks on the lead.

  • The last 3 songs of the last album written by the Beatles. Beautiful!

  • @Fruttidoro Yep I agree.

  • Linda, Robbie & Hammish. Some band.

  • Não sei porque Sir Paul criou essa mania de ter de acelerar o andamento de clássicos dos Beatles. Capricha mais, Sir! Mais calma. O dia é longo...

  • This song makes me cry.....amazing song combo...

  • @ocasio3024

Oh yeah, the same thing happens to me!

  • Who else starts to tear up at the part You Never Give Me Your Money comes into play... So beautiful... Love You Paul (not like that tho) BEATLES FOREVER

    2:06

  • The Chinese guy at 5:55! XD

  • @slabo038 How do you know he is Chinese? Did you look at his passport?

  • L-O-V-E Linda's high harmony on 'Carry that weight' :-)

  • I believe this is why he is sir Paul?

  • EPIC!

One of the most beautiful songs of all time!

John Lennon and George Harrison R.I.P.

  • Great, but his current band does it better (partially because their solos start closer to the originals before taking a life of their own, and partially because the band is tighter in general, having played together for a decade now).

  • Can you imagine the Beatles playing this live with Ringo throwing down that drum solo?

  • guys on guitar have no feeling.

  • @the4armedmonk it's not the same without george..

  • 3:20 - 3:28 Dam I love that

  • When I got 'Abbey Road' Spring 1975 it never occurred to me that it was not recorded in real time. Nor did I realize that neither Yes' 'Relayer' or 'Queen II' were not real time. Six months later I was in the school band.

  • it is a lucky thing to be alive whilst a genius is here

  • se extraña a LImda Mac Cartney y sus bajos .........en los coros..

  • I love Paul McCartney and The Revealed (Ukraine)

  • 6:45 Yeeeeeeeaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!

  • Paul is a good man (not a DEAD-man). Does concerts for everyone and even lets her own wife sing with him. I mean, wouldn't you be proud if you had your family sing in tours with you and sing your epic songs? (I'm not talking to you Justin Bieber.) It's just unfair that he has to suffer wife losses and has to be patient about everyone telling him, "Are you weely Paul? Didn't you die in a cwash?" Leave Paul alone. He's alive and has been alive for the past 2 centuries. God bless you, LONG LIVE PM!

  • :( Poor Linda. She was just too Linda to die for Paul. (LOL See what I did there? Linda means "cute" in Spanish and... ah screw you people -_-)

  • omg Paul's soloing a bit there? That's awesome! Really great performance. :D

  • awesomeee performancee

  • Paul and Linda forever!

  • Robbie McIntosh on guitar!

  • missing linda ...greatly

    rock on sir paul

  • How Beauitful! I absolutely loved it, Paul McCartney is the best artist of all time.

  • Ten people never found their Golden Slumbers, just some dented tin naps.

  • It's amazing how he has a 25 year old voice for a 48 year old person

  • MCCARTNEY = GOD

  • LOVE Paul<3

  • what a great concert it was!

  • wow, this is better than the original!

the original way paul recorded it i mean. his voice got better with time!

  • wow, this is better than the original!

  • Love this.

  • From 4:30 to 5:00 it looks like the beginning of an episode of Friends

  • Gonna get me two goldfish and name them Paul & Linda............ That is what my niece Melanie wants to name them! After our Beloved Macca's!

  • 10 people could not get back home ;)

  • he still has it! (had)

  • I prefer a grand piano sound to an electric one, still Golden Slumbers is one of my favorite songs, it really shows Paul's great range.

  • who the fuck could dislike this ? beautiful

  • @boydeyefc321

isnt it obvious, 10 people couldnt carry that weight

  • 4:23 guy had a orgasm thanks to pauls solo

  • at 4:44

    . . .paul's fantastic hair-flip <3

  • the beatles could have a reunion tour if they wanted, paul, ringo, sean lennon (john lennon's son), and george harrison's son but i can't remember his name. Its not impossible. :)

  • @jtcod Dani Harrison is his name and what about Julian Lennon, John's first son? I don't think they'd ever do a "tour" together, but maybe someday all the kids will get together and do a tribute to their fathers. All the Beatle's sons have outstanding musical careers of their own.

  • @painterclan5 Dahni actually but technicalities :P

  • Linda might of not been the best instrument player but she inspired Paul to write some of the most beautiful song ever made

  • what a wonderful song.!!!

  • sound like john lennon 1:50 creepy!

  • to this day, I have no idea what Linda was doing on stage singing with Paul McCartney.

  • @wdnole He WANTED her there! Isn't that enough for you?

  • Comment removed

  • R.I.P Linda,,,,,,,, smiles await you when you rise!!!!!

  • How I love that generation of people, they changed our life!!

  • Is that a young robbie mcintosh playing guitar?

  • such a cool sond and sung live what a task

  • 2:09 starts to suck from here. come on mccartney, couldn't afford an orchestra?

  • @plotchickens It doesn't suck at any point.

  • err, yes it does. pull your hand off your dick and open your ears. there SHOULD be brass there, instead it's just a shitty keyboard. 2:09, you retard - and actually listen, this time.

  • @plotchickens It still doesn't suck at any point.

  • Yes, it does - you deaf faggot :)

  • @plotchickens you have an obsession with mentioning dick?

  • @plotchickens Pretty much every McCartney tour has had minimal instrumentation - any orchestral arrangements have been on synth, and Paul Wickens uses the same equipment today that he used during this tour. It's becoming a little ridiculous, but in '89 that wasn't too bad. Maybe if Wix hadn't played the brass at 2:09 staccato, it would've sounded better.

  • Wow. Just. Wow.

I'm going to see him in 2 weeks.

I might just go into cardiac arrest.

    Cause of death: beatlemania.

  • Pinche Paul te amo

  • 9 people don't know what love is about.

  • sure they always focus on the hottest chicks.

  • I totally agree Sgt. I would laugh if it wasn't so sad .... Abbey Road you morons!

  • Gee. I miss John's distortion riff in the solos

  • There are just some songs, which, when browsing, you can't turn off......and then there's this which simply sucks you in. A great performance.

  • I wish that he would still do this version in his concerts. But I understand if he doesn't if the reason is because Linda isn't there :(

  • @SoulbondAzn Lindda didnt play on the original. Right now Paul actually performs songs Linda DID play on.

  • @BonJoviBeatlesLedZep Ah, ok. I was just thinking that since it might bring back memories to him and the same thing might happen to him when he sings Here Today

  • @SoulbondAzn All song could bring back memories of Linda I guess and John and George too but you gotta Carry That Weight ;0

  • AMAZING!!!I'd cry a river if i was there!

  • amazing performance. the couple at 1:23 makes me cry.

  • My iPod started vibrating with the power of that performance. That was fricking amazing. If anyone doubts the power of McCartney, I will definitely show them this.

  • i love the fafct that linda is by his side!!

  • So happy to see Paul and his crew having such a gleeful time. I really just can't stop loving everything this man is about!

  • If somebody say McCarntey doesn't have an ability to rock, he's fool.

  • Paul is a vegetarian. Let's become vegetarian all. Let's help the animal.

  • So that's why he's called Sir Paul !!!

  • the solo gave me shivers!

    Good job paul!

  • Not directly. I haven't heard him endorse drugs.

  • You know all the kids these days listen to the trash hip-hop that inspires them to do drugs and have sex, not have a good life like Paul has inspired me.

  • @KillerD1119 Paul still inspires drugs.

  • @nisto95 Not directly, I haven't heard Paul directly endorse drugs.

  • Paul is an awesome guy for many reasons. Horrible things happened to him, really awful, his life was rather horrible. But, it's so admirable that he's still out there, playing like a god, singing like a god and not just that: he sings really happy songs :D

  • Such beautiful songs. And then the jam at the end. Wow! I saw him during this tour--but don't remember the medley.

  • oh! linda!

  • 8 of you wouldnt know good music if it bit you in the ass

  • Richard Lester may be a great Producer etc but he should sack the continuity pleb who didn't notice that LInda's hairstyle had changed at 1'11....this totally spoils the 'live' element for me...oh dear.....

  • i always wanted a live version of "the end"...now my dreams are true :')

  • Foul is good!

  • good ass song

  • i allways nearly cry when i hear this ... its so nice <333

  • wow

  • What an amazing performance by the greatest musician alive- playing with the woman he loved.

  • Drummer shirt change fail. :D

  • totally agree!!!

  • @xzono1990 Didn't intend a response. Trying to move cursor.

  • @italiandom7221991 The joke being Heather Mills has a fake leg...

  • BTW, these are some of the worst guitar solos right here on this video that I've ever heard! Sounds like a kid playing guitar with Music Minus One. Who the fuck are these clowns playing with Paul?

  • Golden Slumbers is BASED on/INFLUENCED by Cradle Song. Just like All By Myself is based on Rach's 2nd Piano Concerto. BUT, Golden Slumbers OBVIOUSLY was written and in public domain sometime between 1603 and 1945, because that version is in the 1945 film, and Paul's "composition" echos the verse of that 1945 variant perfectly.

  • AMAZING!!! RIP Linda!

  • 2:56 parece el grito de michael jacson?

  • so much talent

  • Great tune, beautiful melody, but the lyrics were written in 1603 (Cradle song), an old English lullabye! In the British Horror film, "Dead of Night", from 1945 a teenage girl can be heard singing Golden Slumbers NOTE FOR NOTE, WORD FOR WORD, to a younger boy falling asleep!

  • @Virtuosic1 Paul said he based it off a lullaby.

  • @RantingThespian Actually, he didn't "base" it on a lullabye. The tune IS the lullabye. "Dead of Night" is the 1945 English film where it can be heard, sung note for note, word for word. The Beatles based ALOT of their songs and lyrics on old English tunes in public domain (expired copywrite). You know that that means? If you discover an old minstrel tune from the early 1800s that is NOT copywritten (now in public domain), you can now claim it as your own!!

  • @Virtuosic1 Yes it was a lullaby, it was called "Cradle Song" . The film from 1945 also used the "Cradle Song" in the film. It was written by Thomas Dekker back in the 1600s. It was in Dekker's comedy Patient Grissel from 1603. Paul saw it on a music sheet that his sister left on his Dad's piano, but didn't know how to read notation at the time. So he used majority of the words and came up with his own melody, and it is not note for note of the 1945 film.

  • @RantingThespian Cradle Song is NOT note for note. But The lullabye that the girl sings to the boy in Dead of Night IS note for note! If you were a musician, and able to transcribe it, you would realize that you are WRONG. Go watch the movie, listen to the lullabye, write it out note for note, transcribe "McCartney's" Golden Slumber, compare the two transcriptions of the verse, and then come back here and explainn to me, someone with a masters in composition/theory, how it is "not" the same.

  • This song is about love, not hate.

  • I still miss Linda ); R.I.P.

  • drummernya ngentot banget

  • paul singing in a deep voice<33

  • Hu raaaa!!!!

  • Absolutely beautiful but this is not the version from the live album tripping the live fantastic.

  • excellent

  • OMG you can hear the girl in the audience say "come on" at 3:50

  • 4:25 = EPIC

  • 4:25 = EPIC

  • WHAT AN AWESOME FIND!! thanks for posting, ill watch this about 364658 more times.

  • Apoteòsico!!!

  • at 2:50 it sounds like michael jackson in the back ground

  • 7 people cannot carry the weight.

  • I just rented this movie on Netflix, and the key on the DVD is much lower than this one? What gives?! I like this version better!

  • A younger Paul rocking out; god ,that's fun to see.

  • That woman at 2:34 is so HOT!

  • Comment removed

  • Only 200,000 views?! Crazy!

  • I am impressed by McCartney's surrounding band with Hamish Stuart and even more so with the next band that played in Moscow, in the years to follow. His selection of talent especially in their backing vocals was excellent. Better than the back up (excluding Denny Laine) in his 1970's albums.

  • It's pretty darling, thanks.

  • Look at 2:06 and 2:10 and understand what is going on people

  • He uses hypnosis to hypnotically mind control the followers, if they would just put their fingers in their ears and look away they would not be so mesmorized and drawn in!

  • @Yeppr Actually, I think you'll find that it's called good music.

  • 4:18 XD

  • @SanguineLupis Oh, wait. 4:16.

  • pretty cute paul

  • Wow this was directed by Richard Lester. nice

  • I love the carry that weight part it's like the best part of the whole song!!

  • I saw this show at Madison Sq. Garden. The whole p-r-o-l-o-n-g-e-d guitar solo bit worked really, really well. I'll never forget that night!!!

  • His shirt magically changes at 4:10!!! Haha. Anyways, great song!!!

  • Look at the audience....pure joy.

  • i love in 6:00 when paul say "and in the end..." paul rules :)

  • what an amazing guitar solo o.O

  • SUPER

  • Such a great number! He should put back this sequence to close his shows once again.

  • Lovely Linda, and Heather is a bitch. And Paul is thill best and i love his music
