@LUCCARDI Well I haven't played Halo Reach yet, but I have played Halo 1,2,3. As you have probably noticed in this video, many of the ships, weapons, suits etc look very similar to the ones used throughout the Halo series. I believe that the developers of Halo were influenced from the roughneck series when they were designing the game. In fact, the Roughneck series was created in the late 90's versus Halo which was made in the early 2000's. Regardless, both Halo and this show are great.

the cg might have sucked, but we never had it so good. this was better than the movie, it followed the book while maintaining the sweet detail od the bugs that the movies produced. +1 to the animators of this show. it brings a darker side to "cartoon" that most americans never understand or see.

@skingraph666 Uhh...Followed the book? Not at all! This was even farther from the book that the movie was plot-wise! :/ The only thing remotely similar was that it had the skinnies (Who in the book were not 'enslaved' by the arachnids, but fought with them of their own free will because of Humans trying to force them off their planets) and the idea of a single man being worth a platoon of modern day infantry. I did like this series though, it was very very well done as we speak, (More to add)

In fact, I'm working on cap troopers and taking a break now and then to assemble some of my Rippler bugs. :P Recently picked up a used pack of the Roughneck themselves and currently have them soaking in Pine-sol to strip off the previous owner's shitty paint job so I can make them look at least semi-decent.

@skingraph666 Warhammer uses plastic. :P And some are metal, some are plastic. With warhammer it seems they tried to make the core, important units out of White Metal. Which makes them expensive, but nearly indestructible. I know having dropped my Wolf Guard captain a few times already while painting him. The Starship Troopers game though is out of production. You can get alot of the stuff on ebay still. Mostly plastics for around 1/2 to 1/3 their old MSRP. If you want more info, just PM me. :D

As has been pointed out in other places, Starship Troopers is from a novel that's decades older than Warhammer 40k by Games Workshop- the 'bugs' as written by Heinlien are indeed older than the Tyranids, and same for his rendition of power armor to Space Marines.

@uzernam302 I didn't randomly decide. I had to start somewhere. If the show was any good (especially in a genre like this), you could pick it up at any point. It's like when you get a sneak peak at a book by reading a chapter of it printed at the back of another book by the same publisher. If the book was any good, you can get a sense of that from the chapter they've selected. It's not judging it on its font, its judging it on the content. In this case, the complete lack of content/talent.
