I'd call that a fail. First of all, that's an F/A 18 jet. It has a top speed of Mach 1.8. But it takes a long time to get that fast. You can't race a car and a jet. It just doesn't work right.

It only takes a few seconds for a car to get to top speed but cars are also light. This jet weighs close to 25,000 pounds. The car weighs like 1,500. Not a very fair match. Race that car against a Koeniggseg or other fast car. Race the Hornet against an F-14 or even an F-16 Falcon.

@111olbap ok that is an F-18 A model, and i dont know where you get your numbers from but the engines in the F-18 A,B,C,or D, models could not put out 20,000 pounds of thrust, the F-18 C,D models put out approximately 18,000 pounds of thrust per engine, the A,B models put out about 16,000 pounds per engine, and watch the video closer the F-18 was in max burner so it was putting out full power.
