  • because for seasons 1-12 er started at 8:59/9:59

    starting with season 13, it started at 9:01/10/01

    so they figured they could cut a minute of what they had filmed, or cut out the near minute of the opening credits.

    it's fucking pathetic all shows now bar a few like csi still have a proper opening just cuz of 1 lousy fucking minute. openings are memorable but some execs/producers seem to have forgotten that.
