I'm not bash on you its a good start but flip the sample more intrictly. Like others said layin the hats down by hand with velocity sensitivty will add a old school feel, a nice open hat will add a bounce. Maby add a filter decay with a small attack will add a unique feel to the hats. Then mix it a bit and ull hav a winner keep up the work

i'll give some constructive criticism since everyone here seems to just give wasteful hating comments lol. I like the direction you have with this beat, but it's definitely missing something. If you gave it a nice filtered type Dilla bass with a good swing, I would definitely say it could be something. Also maybe add another instrument like a piano lead or strings or somthing. maschine is ok. It would be better if it was hardware like the mpc. Also if maschine had 4 midi ins and outs, it would be just like a 2500. It would be right up there with the mpc. I like doing videos with the maschine because I can show the maschine software at work. I check out some of your vids. Nice work.
