Who in their right mind would go to the trouble and expense of a live audience for a non income generating webcast that lasts 2 minutes? Liberals are so clueless on anything involving economics. Then they should get a REALISTIC laugh track. A laugh track that explodes at the punchline and then abruptly stops at the next joke is NOT realistic, and pretty unintentionally funny in and of itself. The laugh track should be more subtle, fade in and esp. out more gradually, and mix in some late chuckles and groans appropriately. Maybe earpiece in the track to the anchor, so she can time her pieces with the track.

They have mixed in some late chuckles and groans and I'm sure they'll do more of it. Your comment about the ear piece is thoughtful and constructive but I don't know if it would work. I don't know enough about it but it seems like it would throw off her timing if anything.

I don't care what you actual politics are and why shouldn't I assume? That's what people do when you don't come out with it. I assume all rude comments are from liberals because conservatives should be more receptive and understand more about the economics. People don't have to tell you what their politics are it's usually apparent by who they choose to criticize the most. Liberals also try to pretend they are something they aren't because they think it bolsters their weak arguments.

The fact that many liberals try to pretend they are moderate or conservative when they argue doesn't show a lack of intelligence, it's a reflection on the weak arguments of the liberal philosophy. The liberal philosophy is based on emotion and what sounds good, not what actually works.

Here's the problem with this show-The Daily Show is trying to pick on the hypocrisy of anyone not just Republicans. It's the old "speak truth to power." These right wing shows have an agenda. There first intention isn't to be funny-it's just to make fun of the left which is hypocritical. That's why these jokes fall flat.  You'll NEVER see them say anything about Bush or Cheney. The Daily Show have made fun of Clinton, Kerry, Dean, etc. They ALWAYS go for the laugh first.

Ron Paul has even said he does not think there was a conspiracy. He believes the terrorists orchestrated 9/11 - not the government or Jewish people or "Neocons" (real or imagined)or any other conspiracy.
