Great video! You guys are really cute togeather! I know just how you felt! I own a 6 year old OTTB that's been off the track for less then a year (about 6 months I think) and I'm a begineer. A lot of people thought I was crazy and that I should get a 26 yr old QH instead. But my boy Devon is so sweet and the perfect horse for me. I've had him for a little over a week but so far so good!

this is sooooo inspirational! I just got my first ottb ever, Im not a beginner though I've been around horses and riding for 12 years, But im new to the ottb scene, I know exactly how u feel about allt he nasty comments, I got the same thing from my family aswell! but I stillwent and looked and when i saw my Derek i just knew i had the feeling he was something special! and i wasnt going to let anyone stop me. I got him 2 days after i saw him, havent looked back since!

Yeah. After working with Dandy I really think I'm ready to take on another project. I'll keep working with Dandy, but he's got a slightly enlarged leg, and won't be able to jump more than two ft. so maybe he'll be a good kid horse or something, haha. :P
